IPhone SE 4 Will Include A Display Notch, Analyst Confirms

The iPhone SE 4 could finally launch towards the end of Q1 2025. It’s rumored to arrive in March, actually. With that being said, a reliable source has just confirmed that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a display notch, not Dynamic Island.

The iPhone SE 4 will include a display notch, it would seem

Some sources suggested that the phone will utilize a Dynamic Island like the iPhone 16 series. That won’t be the case here, Apple will backtrack to a notch, unfortunately. The information comes from Ross Young, a well-known display analyst. These were his exact words: “Notch like iPhone 14 is correct.”

Do note that the phone could end up being called the iPhone 16E, and not the iPhone SE 4. The name has not been confirmed yet, and we’ve heard both names being thrown around.

In any case, the device will feature a flat display with a notch and uniform bezels. On the back, it is said to include a single camera, not a double or triple camera system. The Apple A18 SoC is tipped to fuel the phone.

This phone will be first to use Apple’s in-house 5G modem

This smartphone will be the very first to come with Apple’s in-house 5G modem. That is one of the reasons it’ll cost less than $500 based on rumors. It may not hit the price tag of its predecessor ($429), but it won’t be that far from it either.

This handset will be notably different than the iPhone SE 3, though. This will be a huge jump from the iPhone 8 design that the iPhone SE 3 used. The phone will also be notably bigger, and will allegedly use a 6.1-inch display, as it’s based on the iPhone 14.

The iPhone SE 4 dummy images and video surfaced online, and that gave us a closer look at the device. The final design should look very similar if not identical to what that dummy showed us.
