Infininx is out to offer a premium experience at a price tag that comes in at under $500, and the NOTE 50 Pro+ offers that experience with some incredible touches. The phone has a high-performance silicon-carbon battery, and unique AI features to enhance daily use.
Infinix recently launched its “Infinix AI∞ Beta Plan,” debuting the NOTE 50 Series and AIoT family, marking the brand’s entry into the AI-powered Gen Beta era. The event featured Infinix’s first-ever vertical-format livestream on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, designed to engage young audiences. Integrating AI-driven interactions and creative content, the launch redefined the event experience, highlighting Infinix’s commitment to advancing AI technology for everyday life.
The phone has a high-performance silicon-carbon battery that supports fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse charging — an unprecedented feature for a phone priced under $500. It also boasts the only 100X periscope lens in its class, enabling 6X lossless shooting. The entire NOTE 50 series is equipped with Infinix’s self-developed One-Tap Infinix AI∞ feature, marking the company’s official entry into the “Gen-Beta AI era.”
One-Tap Infinix AI∞ is an AI assistant built into the phone. Simply long-press the power button to activate the voice assistant, Folax, which executes commands using AI. Folax enables users to translate, summarize, and draft text, assists in deep thinking, answers calls, provides real-time call translation, and supports cross-app switching, making daily life both easy and efficient. For urban travel and trips, Folax can initiate navigation on command, perform image recognition and generate information, edit photos using AI, answer calls in real-time, and execute One-Tap Query, making travel more convenient and enjoyable.
The NOTE 50 Pro+ takes on a wonderful design with something that’s reminiscent of luxury vehicles. The rear camera array takes on the shape of a gem, while the rest of the phone is modern and sharp. The phone itself is made from Inifinix’s ArmoAlloy material, which blends aluminum and Damascus steel. Damascus is a layered steel that has a higher strength than cast or rolled steels, adding strength to the aluminum’s lightweight quality. The phone’s metal manufacturing process is also completely unique. HyperCasting tech eliminates 22 small components, transforming it into a lighter and sturdier integrated metal frame.
The camera array mentioned offers three different camera options. A Sony IMX896 50MP sensor is situated in the main camera slot, while a 50MP OIS 100x periscope lens telephoto option and an 8MP ultra-wide lens sit beside it. For a phone that comes in under $500, it’s insane to see a telephoto and ultra-wide option included. The array also houses a mini-LED status indicator that lights up for notifications and other alerts. We love seeing that sort of touch on new devices.

Another fantastic inclusion is the silicon-carbon battery construction Inifinix chose to use. Silicon-carbon has proven to be a better option as of late, and the construction brings properties that allow for longer battery life. The NOTE 50 Pro+ has a 5,200 mAh unit that can maintain 80% capacity after prolonged use. The PowerReserve mode can even provide 2.2 hours of talking time on just 1%, which is wild to think about.
The NOTE 50 Pro+’s other internals that enhance internet speed, communications, daily entertainment, and gaming include the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, a 5.5G Open-Air Network Structure that delivers download speeds up to 200% faster than standard 5G, and Super Wi‑Fi 2.0. It is equipped with 12GB of RAM, expandable up to 24GB. Furthermore, it features the only 144Hz display in its segment, measuring 6.78 inches — a well-proportioned size.
As an added bonus, the NOTE 50 Pro+ is able to accomplish health tracking with rear sensors on the phone. Rather than relying on a smartwatch or other tracker, the phone can take data right from the sensor.

Battery blues? Not here—100W wired, 50W wireless, and reverse charging have you covered, making low power a thing of the past. Overall, the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ looks to be an exciting entry into the sub-$500 market. It comes in three variants: Titanium Grey, Enchanted Purple, and Racing Edition.
