Incremental Firmware Update Rolling Out To Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

A new firmware update is appearing for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro for some users in Europe. The update comes as the second since the earbuds’ release.

After a rough launch where Samsung was scrambling to fix an issue with the ear tips on the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, it seems like the rest of its existence has been smooth sailing. Usually, repeated firmware updates are indicative of a problematic product, but the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is only getting its second firmware update many months after release.

According to SamMobile, Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is getting a firmware update that comes in a 7.68MB package. The small release seems to only be available in Europe for the time being, though it’ll likely begin to make its way further soon. The update is incremental in nature and won’t include anything groundbreaking for the time being. It’s vital, but it’s no more exciting than a security update for a Galaxy phone.

The changelog doesn’t mention anything notable beyond the standard reliability and stability improvements. The previous firmware update was specific to issues with Bluetooth. This firmware update for the Buds 3 Pro does emphasize the importance of installing since future features won’t be available if the update isn’t installed, even if those features are server-side, seemingly.

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro firmware update can be installed through the Galaxy Wearable app in the regions where it’s available.
