Google Teases A New Imagination Studio Event In Japan

On Sunday, Google posted a pretty confusing teaser to its Japan account. It was a Google Pixel logo with devil horns sticking out. A day later, the company explained the meaning behind it, and it’s pretty exciting. Google is going to hold a new Imagination Studio event soon.

If you’re not familiar with the K-pop world, then you may not understand the hype behind this announcement. The devil horns pointed to the K-pop group Babymonster. So, if you’re a fan, then you’ll want to keep your ear to the news regarding this event.

In celebration of this collaboration, the company posted an image with a silhouette of the group on top of a red background. Above that, we see that the event will go down in Shibuya, Japan on March 29th. We shouldn’t be surprised that it’s holding this event in Japan. The Google Pixel is wildly popular in that country, making up a significant percentage of the market there.

Right now, there aren’t many details available about this event. We don’t know what the company will focus on, but we might see the Pixel 9a there. The company recently pulled the covers off of that device. However, since this is Google we’re talking about, we can guess that there will be some focus on AI technology.

Since this is a collaboration with Babymonster, we’re sure that Google will be the official phone supplier for the group for a while. It seems likely as a publicity push to get people more excited about the brand.

Things have been looking up for the Google Pixel line, as the Pixel 9 series was super popular. In fact, Google’s phones have been selling in high volume since the Pixel 6 revamped the series.

There are only a few more days until the event, so we’ll know what’s going down then. Be sure to mark your calendar for the date.
