Google Pixel 10 Series Reportedly Sticks With Same Design As First Renders Leak [Gallery]

While its launch if a few months away, the first renders of the Google Pixel 10 have surfaced, showing off a very familiar design.

For the past few generations, Google’s designs for Pixel phones have evolved from year to year, with elements that tie together the various changes. Pixel 7 largely shares the design of Pixel 6 with some changes to the camera design, while Pixel 8 further evolved that camera bar and also made tweaks to the overall fit and finish. The Pixel 9 series was Google’s biggest redesign to date, with flatter sides, a new take on the camera bump, and other aesthetic updates. And it seems the company wants to stick with that design for a bit longer.

New CAD-based renders from Android Headlines show off what is claimed to be the Pixel 10, the “base” model in Google’s upcoming flagship lineup.

These renders are not yet official and there’s room for error (look at a recent Galaxy Z Flip 7 leak from the same source for an example there), but they offer a general idea of Google’s hardware. And, from the looks of it, the design won’t be changing all that much.

The same core design is shown here, with flat sides and a raised camera bar. There are no additional buttons, a growing trend in Android phones, and everything just looks roughly the same. That’s certainly not a bad thing, as the hardware on the Pixel 9 series was extremely well-received.

Dimensions will be altered ever-so-slightly, it seems. Pixel 10 apparently measures 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm, just a hair thicker than the 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm Pixel 9. The camera bump is an additional 3.4mm, taking the thickest point to 12mm. On the bright side, this lack of change in dimensions could make it possible for this generation’s cases to remain compatible with the newer phone. That was one perk of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, which could share each other’s cases and accessories.

The same will be true of Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, as Android Headlines separately posted Pixel 10 Pro renders showing off the same design and the same dimensions – 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm.

What do you think of Google possibly sticking with this same design for a second year?
