Google Extends $100 Credit With Pixel 9a While Retailers Offer $100 Gift Cards

Google is extending its launch offer for the Pixel 9a with a $100 credit included with purchase, but retailers are upping the ante with $100 gift cards instead.

When the Pixel 9a launched earlier this month, the Google Store immediately offered a $100 store credit with each purchase of the $499 smartphone. That credit can be used on anything else in the store, including accessories or even other devices such as a Google TV Streamer, or towards something like a Pixel Watch. Originally, that offer had an end date of April 23.

The Google Store has since extended this $100 offer through May 11. Anyone who buys an unlocked Pixel 9a through the Google Store gets the added credit.

However, you can also get this $100 credit from other retailers, where it might be a bit more useful.

Both Amazon and Best Buy are bundling the Pixel 9a with a $100 gift card. That gift card can be used on anything from either storefront, though it’s probably most useful at Amazon out of the two. In any case, though, it’s nice to see this added flexibility.

  • Pixel 9a at Google Store
  • Pixel 9a at Amazon
  • Pixel 9a at Best Buy

While Amazon and Best Buy are not mentioning the end date for that promotion, it stands to reason it will end on the same date as the Google Store. Both third-party retailers will have the Pixel 9a shipping on May 1.
