Google Clock 7.13 Rolling Out Via The Play Store

Following Calculator 8.7, Google is rolling out an update to Android’s Clock app with version 7.13.

There are no obvious user-facing changes, with the last version (7.10) coming in October of 2024.

This update does not add the Timer Starter widget that Google introduced for Pixel last year. After debuting on the Pixel Tablet, it came to phones in March. Version 7.12 of Google Clock curiously rolled out with Android 15 QPR2.

After installing version 7.13 from the Play Store on a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 today, there are still only five widgets: World, Analog, Digital, Stacked, and Stopwatch.

The new widget lets you start one of your last three timers or create a new one from your homescreen. It’s available in various sizes and can be quite handy.

Timer Starter could always roll out as a server-side update in the future. There’s no reason the new widget is exclusive to Google phones. The Clock app on non-Pixel devices does lack weather integration, but that experience is powered by the Pixel Weather app.

Google Clock 7.13 is not yet widely available via the Play Store today.
