Galaxy Z Fold 6 And Flip 6 Are Starting To Get One UI 7 In The US

It’s been expected that Samsung would eventually roll out One UI 7 to the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip series, though the “when” was nothing short of in the air. Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 users are starting to see One UI 7 available in the US.

One UI 7 has experienced a lengthy set of hurdles that have resulted in various delays. The beta phase seemed to go on far too long, with some devices, like the Galaxy Z Fold 6, not seeing the One UI 7 beta until several months after it was initially launched in full on the S25 series. Now, it seems that One UI 7 is finally here for more than just Samsung’s latest phones.

Users in the US are reporting that One UI 7 is hitting Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. It was recently announced that the update would come sometime in April, and wouldn’t you know, it’s here!

Our own Galaxy Z Fold 6 is also available to update as an unlocked device coming from the beta. The update weighs in at around 5GB for those who are not part of the beta and around 1,300MB for previously enrolled beta devices. It appears that devices on the beta previously are seeing the update first. This update also seems to include the April 2025 security patch, combining two updates in one.

This is an update to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 foldables that are unlocked and on Verizon networks for now. Other carrier models like T-Mobile and AT&T may have to wait some time longer to see the update, as each approach updates differently, though it looks like it’s finally starting to roll out widely among all Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models.

Samsung is also actively rolling out One UI 7 in Europe as of today for devices beyond the Fold and Flip series, so more regions should follow shortly along with more devices.
