Galaxy S25 Magnet Cases Are Fully Available (And Still Bad) As 3-In-1 Charger Resurfaces

One of Samsung’s upgrades on the Galaxy S25 series is the addition of Qi2 support, sort of, as the company launched cases to use its new smartphones with chargers, cases, and other magnetic accessories. Those cases have not been well-recieved, but are now finally available in full, right as Samsung seems to be reviving its mysterious 3-in-1 wireless charger.

First things first. The Galaxy S25 series is “Qi2 Ready” despite the phones themselves lacking built-in magnets. Instead, Samsung passes that on to official and third-party cases that are approved for Qi2 charging. The company sells its own official “Clear Magnet Case” which is a thin, transparent case with a ring of magnets embedded inside.

They’re… not good.

After going in and out of stock following Samsung’s launch, the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra magnet cases went on sale in mid-February to mostly negative reviews. Nothing has changed in the time since, but now the base Galaxy S25 also has a magnet case available for the same $24 as the others. That case wasn’t available back in February, and its reviews are even worse at a whopping 1-star. As mentioned previously, the going complaints with these cases seem to be an overly tight fit and, according to one user, they’re not very protective as their Galaxy S25 broke on a single drop in this case. Thankfully, there are some solid third-party options out there.

Meanwhile, Samsung also seems to be reviving its 3-in-1 wireless charger. We went hands-on with this back in January and pointed out that it was listed on Samsung’s store at the time, but it vanished days later. It took over a month for others to realize the removal, speculating that the product was cancelled. But, now, that charger has resurfaced on Samsung’s online store in Korea where it’s available for store pickup. The price lands at 119,000 won, about $80 USD, far lower than the $129 price tag Samsung had this charger marked at back in January.

It’s still unclear when, if at all, the company will launch this charger more widely, but it’s clear that it’s not giving up on the product just yet.
