The Galaxy S25 Edge does not come as a fourth wheel in the main S25 lineup. Like the FE model, it’s entirely its own phone, and new leaks note that we should see the Galaxy S25 Edge launch in late April.
There are a few details known about Samsung’s new venture into a thinner phone. Coming in at 5.84mm thick, the Galaxy S25 Edge takes on a new camera design and packs smaller bezels, contributing to the “thin” look. It’s also expected to weigh around 162g.
According to a new leak by Nieuwe Mobiel, the Galaxy S25 Edge will launch on April 15 in Europe, with the announcement falling on April 16 for some other regions. Previously, we heard that the device might launch on April 16, and this wouldn’t be too far off if time zones have anything to do with it. The event will be held online and will be streamed globally.
The leak goes on to note that there will be two variants of the Black, Silver, and Blue models. Each will have a 256GB model and a 512GB model. Sad to see there is not 1TB option, though Samsung likely isn’t expecting to sell very many models of this phone. It’s worth noting that the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to carry 12GB of RAM across the board.
Two accessories have surfaced, as well. That includes a silicone case and a Kindsuit Case. The Kindsuit Case will likely have an inner liner like other Kindsuit cases that have come before it.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to fall in and around $1,099, placing right in the middle of the Galaxy S25 models that were launched in early 2025.
