Galaxy S24 Series Now Getting One UI 7 Beta 4 With Several Fixes

There is finally some progress in the development of One UI 7 for Samsung’s eligible phones. The Galaxy S24 series is expected to be the first to receive the stable update—the latest Galaxy S25 lineup already runs the firmware out of the box. However, recent reports suggest that the company could push the OTA in April. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is already receiving One UI 7 beta 4 with several fixes and a couple of camera improvements.
It seems that the development of One UI 7 has not been smooth sailing for Samsung. Delays have been occurring since last year, according to reliable sources. There were even issues of overlap between work on One UI 7 and the rollout of One UI 6.1.1. Most big Android brands already pushed stable Android 15 to their phones weeks (or even months) ago. Plus, Android 16 got its second beta update recently.
One UI 7 beta 4 reaching the Galaxy S24 series, first in South Korea and India
Some tipsters estimate that One UI 7 will have 6 beta updates before the stable rollout, which seems to coincide with a potential April rollout. Samsung takes at least two weeks between each release. Anyway, One UI 7 beta 4 is already reaching the Galaxy S24 enrolled in the beta program, first for users in India (S92xBXXU4ZYBA) and South Korea (S921NKSU5ZYBA).
One UI 7 beta 4 brings the update closer to the long-awaited stability. The update’s changelog includes several fixes for bugs and issues detected in the previous version. Also, there are a couple of enhancements to the camera experience. After installing the latest firmware, users will notice that there is a new AI camera filter. Plus, S24 Ultra owners will be able to record videos in log format. Sadly, this improvement is not available for the vanilla and Plus variants.
You can check out the full changelog in the screenshot below (via Tarun Vats on X/Twitter). It mentions at the end “Many other improvements,” which suggests that the update has had a lot of optimization work behind it. So, you can expect smoother performance as well.
