Galaxy A34 Alert: Samsung Unexpectedly Halts One UI 7 Update

Contents
Samsung continues rolling out One UI 7 with many new features. The South Korean tech giant first updated its flagship models. It is currently focusing on the entry and mid-range segments. But it seems that things are not going well for a particular device. The brand has halted the rollout of the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A34.
The One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A34 has been halted
Samsung started rolling out One UI 7 for the Galaxy A34 earlier this month. The company first released the new build in Korea and then expanded the rollout to Europe. However, some users have shared screenshots showing that Samsung has halted the update.
The screenshots show that Samsung has now marked the stable DYE7 One UI 7 build released for the Galaxy A34 as test firmware. It is also not available for download via OTA.
Reports say that the company’s decision has not only affected the Galaxy A34 (SM-A346N) models in South Korea, but the rollout has also been halted for the SM-A346B and SM-A346E variants sold in Europe and other countries.
The tech giant has also stopped Korean carriers like SK Telekom, KT, and LG Uplus from rolling out the One UI 7 update.
When will the Galaxy A34 update rollout resume?
Samsung has not explained why it halted the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A34. Reports say issues in the DYE7 build affected the user experience, but there are no more specific details.
Galaxy A34 users should not worry much about the rollout stopping. The company has made similar decisions before. For instance, the brand stopped the One UI 7 release for the Galaxy S24 series early this year. Later, it resumed delivering the update.
Since Samsung has not issued an official statement, we can only speculate. Galaxy A34 users can wait for a rollout resume in the following days. Let’s hope that such issues do not occur in the Android 16-based One UI 8 update for which the A34 is also eligible.
