We’ve seen plenty of interesting products at CES 2025, and that includes the Flic Duo. This is a neat new smart button. This smart button is wall-mountable, but you can also pick it up and carry it around with you.

This is essentially a tiny dual-button remote that allows you to create over 30 programmable motion-based commands. Needless to say, that is great to have and can be immensely useful inside a smart home.

You will notice that there are two buttons on there, smaller and larger ones, but this gadget also supports gestures. The Flic Duo is only 8mm thick, so it will adapt really well regardless of where you keep it.

The customization goes so deep that you can even program different tasks based on the button’s location. So, for example, it can turn on/off lights when mounted on the wall, and then do something else entirely for the same action when you’re carrying it around.

It is compatible with Matter

This smart button is also compatible with Matter, so it basically works with all major smart home platforms. Even if you lose this button in your house, you can track it down via the Flic app. The battery is replaceable, but it lasts up to three years.

There is even fall detection built into Flic Duo. So it can be of use to senior citizens, and even people who work alone in environments where people are not around them.

The company says that the Flic Duo will start shipping in the second quarter of 2025. The pre-order will open on January 28. An “early bird price” for the device is $49.
