Exclusive: Google Pixel 9a European Pricing Revealed

While we have already published the Google Pixel 9a pricing for the US and Canada, we now have pricing for many European countries. While the pricing is staying the same in the US, as the Pixel 8a, the same can be said for most of Europe too. For the most part, we’re looking at €549 and €609 for the 128GB and 256GB models, respectively. The full price list is below:
- Belgium: 128GB – €549; 256GB – €649
- Canada: 128GB – $679; 256GB – $809
- France: 128GB – €549; 256GB – €649
- Germany: 128GB – €549; 256GB – €649
- Ireland: 128GB – €559; 256GB – €659
- Italy: 128GB – €549; 256GB – €649
- Spain: 128GB – €549; 256GB – €649
- United Kingdom: 128GB – £499; 256GB – £599
- United States: 128GB – $499; 256GB – $599
In a time where we are seeing loads of price increases on virtually everything, it’s good to see that Google is sticking with the same pricing this year, despite a rather large redesign on the Pixel 9a. However, with inflation and the threat of tariffs, it would not be surprising to see prices go up for the Pixel 10a next year.
Google’s Pixel 9a is shaping up to be a pretty impressive sub-$500 smartphone
When Google first debuted the Pixel a-series back in 2019, it was a pretty good value for the price. However, it was also quite a bit cheaper (so was the flagship Pixel). Now, here we are six years later, and it seems like the Pixel 9a is returning to that impressive value.
As we have already published, the Pixel 9a will sport a 6.285-inch display, powered by the Tensor G4 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also come with a massive 5,100mAh capacity battery. We have not been able to confirm if this is a silicon-carbon battery or not, however given the very small size increase in the overall phone, the same thickness as the Pixel 8a, and a 13% increase in battery size, it definitely feels like it.
Google has also upgraded the main camera sensor on the Pixel 9a, making it a 48-megapixel sensor. This is a slightly smaller sensor versus the Pixel 8a, however it does have a wider aperture.
The Google Pixel 9a is set to be unveiled on March 19 with pre-orders opening the same day, and shipping on March 26.
