Does Sony Xperia 1 VII Have An SD Card

Does the Sony Xperia 1 VII have an SD card slot? The answer to this question for almost every other flagship would be no. However, in the case of the Xperia 1 VII, the answer is… yes!

Yes, the Sony Xperia 1 VII comes with a microSD card slot

Sony has decided to continue its long-standing practice and include a microSD card in its latest flagship. This phone allows you to expand its storage with a microSD card of up to 2TB. So, you can technically get the maximum of 2.5TB to use.

You can achieve that if you buy the 512GB storage variant of the phone and use a 2TB microSD card. If you opt for a 256GB storage option of the device, you’ll still be able to use a 2TB storage microSD card, though.

So, with the Sony Xperia 1 VII, it’s not as important which storage option you get, considering that you can always expand on that, if you need to. The company sees its flagship phones as pocket cameras, which is why it always allows for storage expansion, and that’s nice to see.

Sony also opted to stick with an audio jack and a physical shutter key

Sony also decided to stick with an audio jack and a physical shutter key. That’s also not something we see on many phones these days. Well, a shutter button, yes, in more and more, but not the audio jack.

The Sony Xperia 1 VII is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The phone comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and it was announced recently. UFS 4.0 flash storage is also used here.

Sony opted for a triple camera setup on the back, led by a 48-megapixel camera with a 1/1.35-inch sensor size. Full-stage stereo speakers are also included here, as is Android 15 out of the box. Read more about the Sony Xperia 1 VII specs if you’re interested.
