Contents

Today’s deals are kicking off with a $300 price drop on the upgraded 1TB unlocked Pixel 9 Pro alongside the ongoing offers on the rest of the lineup from $599. From there we move over to a return of all-time low pricing on Amazon’s Kindle Colorsoft at $225 as well as 8Bitdo’s Ultimate Mobile gaming controller for Android at $27, and a series of earbud deals – Galaxy Buds 3 Pro at $60 off, Powerbeats Pro 2 at $50 off, and the flagship OnePlus Buds Pro 3 with vegan leather case down at $140. All of that and more awaits below in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.

Google’s elevated 1TB unlocked Pixel 9 Pro now now $300 off at Amazon right now, more from $599
The official Google Mother’s Day sale is scheduled to carry on through this week until mom’s big day this upcoming weekend. But we wanted to highlight one particular deal you’ll find over at Amazon, the elevated 1TB Pixel 9 Pro. You can’t get this capacity straight from Google so we wanted to make sure it was on your radar now that its regular $1,449 list price has dropped $300.
Amazon is now offering the unlocked 1TB Google Pixel 9 Pro in Obsidian black down at $1,149 shipped. That’s $300 off the regular list price and matching the lowest price we have tracked this year. For the record, the 1TB configuration isn’t available at Google or Best Buy right now.
While a 1TB smartphone isn’t for everyone, and you’re clearly going to be paying a premium to carry that much storage space around, this is a deal worth considering for folks that are interested in scoring a top-tier model in Google’s latest 9 series releases.
For the rest of us, let’s take a rundown of the other, more affordable options that are also seeing notable price drops right now. While the entry-level Pixel 9 Pro has now jumped up $50 from the initial Amazon price we spotted that was undercutting the official Google price, the 256GB Pixel 9 is still seeing the particular notable $250 discount, as you can see below:
- Google Pixel 9 from $599 (Reg. $799)
- Google Pixel 9 256GB $649 (Reg. $899)
- Google Pixel 9 Pro from $799 (Reg. $999)
- Google Pixel 9 Pro XL from $899 (Reg. $1,099)

Amazon’s Kindle Colorsoft falls back down to $225 all-time low today + deals on new Kindle Scribe, more
Last fall Amazon unleashed its latest-generation Kindle models and today we are tracking deals on a few of them. Firstly, and perhaps the real standout release of the bunch, we have the Kindle Colorsoft – Amazon’s first Kindle reader with a color display. Regularly $280, you can once again land one back down at the lowest we have tracked since release at $224.99 shipped.
Today’s deal is the same 20% off we spotted last month to land on par with the lowest price we have tracked of the year and since this model debuted back in October.
As mentioned above, Colorsoft is the very first Kindle with a color display. That means you can browse your library of titles with full-color covers, “add color highlights that you can easily search later,” and more. It sports an oxide backplane-equipped 7-inch display, wireless charging, a waterproof frame, up to 8 weeks of battery life, “high contrast, fast page turns,” and an auto-adjusting front light.”
A complete rundown of the feature set on this model and the others that are on sale below awaits in our launch coverage right here.
- Amazon Kindle Scribe $325 (Reg. $400)
- Or Buy 2 Get an extra $40 off
- All-new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Kids $140 (Reg. $180)
- Or Buy 2 Get an extra $20 off
- And even more…

8Bitdo’s Ultimate Mobile gaming controller for Android is nearly 50% off right now at $27
As part of its updated Spring video game sale, Woot is once again offering 8Bitdo’s Ultimate Mobile gaming controller in white for $26.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). This particular gamepad hit the scene earlier this year in February carrying a $50 price tag. It hit the $27 mark for the first time during Woot’s Spring Sale last month and quickly sold out. Today’s deal brings that price back with a 46% discount, giving you another chance to grab it at the lowest price. The same model, in case you’re wondering, is currently fetching $45 at Amazon. Head below for more details.
The 8Bitdo Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller features a telescopic design that securely holds your smartphone, transforming it into a portable gaming device. It’s compatible with phones ranging from 110mm to 170mm in length. One of its standout features is the use of Hall effect joysticks and triggers, which offer a more premium feel and greater durability compared to other options on the market. The joysticks are enhanced with metal rings for smoother movement, while interior padding helps protect your device from scratches. Other highlights of this gamepad include tactile bumpers, a responsive D-pad, customizable back paddle buttons, and compatibility with 8Bitdo’s Ultimate software for advanced personalization.
Woot’s Spring video game sale is also offering 8Bitdo’s Xbox Edition Retro TKL for $89.99 Prime shipped. This is the lowest price we have tracked for this fairly new model and it even comes with a set of Super Buttons.

Samsung now offering Galaxy Buds 3 Pro at $60 off, or cert. refurbs at $125 shipped
If you’re looking to land a brand-new set of Samsung’s latest Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and, like me, prefer to stray away from those “international version” deals that pop up (the reported issues and lack of warranty just aren’t worth it for me), you can now score some in brand-new condition straight from Samsung at $60 off, or for even less in Geek Squad Certified Refurbished condition. Details below.
Over at Samsung, you’ll find both the white and silver Galaxy Buds 3 Pro marked down to $189.99 shipped. That’s $60 off the regular $250 list price and on par with the lowest we can find in brand-new condition. Scroll down to the “Trade-in” section and hit “No, Get $60 Samsung Instant Savings.” This deal can also be had over at Amazon today, which is within $1 of the lowest we have tracked there since the release gift card offers.
Outside of some of the wild bundle deals we saw Samsung offering on these buds alongside its new S25 smartphones earlier this year, this is among the best prices we have tracked on official North American units. There were also some lower prices on the international version we mentioned above, but there are reports of connectivity issues with U.S. phones/devices and you will not get U.S. warranty support taking that route. It’s not the worst option for saving cash, but I tend to prefer the proper options with at least some sort of coverage on my investment, no matter how discounted it might be.
Now, for folks who don’t mind opting for a Best Buy Geek Squad Certified Refurbished condition unit, you can score one of those for $124.99 shipped, or $65 less than today’s new price. You won’t get the full warranty (it comes with 90-day Geek Squad coverage), but it is the lowest we can find from a reputable refurbished source right now – this is $25 above the lowest we have tracked for these refurbs.
Geek Squad Certified Refurbished products are thoroughly, painstakingly and lovingly tested, so you can be sure that your device will work right, right away.
