ChatGPT Is Experiencing An Outage Right Now — You’re Not Alone

ChatGPT is arguably the most popular AI chatbot right now, which also means OpenAI has to do a great job to ensure it functions reliably for everyone. However, service outages are a reality, and even the best in business face them, sometimes for more than a year. Currently, it looks like ChatGPT is not performing to the best of its abilities in producing answers, thanks to a massive outage across different parts of the world.

Upon pressing Enter after typing their prompt, users get an error message that says “Hmm…something seems to have gone wrong,” with the “Retry” button next to it. We managed to get responses a few times, but it’s too slow. On its official website, OpenAI has shared that the issue has been going on for several hours. The company is currently investigating the issue, and sadly, there is no temporary workaround right now.
