That’s a wrap, folks! MWC is officially over. It was a great event, and we saw some great tech unveiled. However, which devices were the best? Which ones stood out among the riff-raff as the most interesting, innovative, and intriguing? That’s what we’re going to answer. We gave a handful of devices our award for Best of MWC, and here’s a list of all of them.

While technically launching before MWC, the HONOR Magic7 RSR Porsche Design was a pretty popular device. As you can tell by the name, this phone was designed in collaboration with the car company, and it shows. Coming with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite and an impressive 24GB of RAM, this phone is an absolute powerhouse. The large 5,850mAh battery makes this an all-day phone. This device is one of the best on the market, and it marks HONOR as a true competitor in the smartphone space.

Not to be outdone, there’s another amazing HONOR phone that made a splash at MWC. The HONOR Magic7 Pro has a refined and gorgeous design with a circular camera bump on the back. The placement gives it a symmetrical design. Powering this phone, there’s the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and it’s backed up by 16GB of RAM. This phone has a large and beautiful 6.8-inch display. Also, the large 5,850mAh battery will power it throughout the day. The HONOR Magic7 Pro can go toe-to-toe with any iPhone or Galaxy phone any day.

Huawei Mate XT

This is the phone that broke the internet a couple of months ago, and it’s still making waves. Huawei brought the first tri-fold phone to the market. This 3-fold phone almost costs 3 grand, but it still dazzled the masses for how refined it is. Coming with a capable camera package, an optimized operating system, a powerful Kirin 9010 processor, and 16GB of RAM, it’s definitely one of the most capable phones on the market. Let’s not forget about the screen; it has a 6.4-inch, 7.9-inch, and 10.2-inch display. It’s truly a phone that can become a tablet.

TECNO Camon 40 series

TECNO has a range of stellar premium mid-range phones under its Camon series. During MWC, the company took the wraps off of the Camon 40 series of phones. The star of the show is the Camon 40 Premier. Using the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC and 12GB of RAM, this phone can power through whatever anyone throws at it. TECNO brought two new designs with this phone series, with one looking similar to last year’s Camon 30 Premier. This phone also has a powerful camera setup with three 50MP cameras. One of them is a 50MP periscopic zoom camera. All in all, the TECNO Camon 40 Premier will dominate the mid-range sector.

Xiaomi 15

Xiaomi brought its latest series of smartphones to the event, and the first one is the Xiaomi 15. This phone checks all of the boxes to create a complete flagship smartphone experience. What’s notable about the phone is its compact size. It’s the perfect phone for people who want a 6.36-inch device they can use with one hand. Using the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, this phone will have no issues with performance whatsoever. This is also thanks to the 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. With a decent 5,240mAh battery, you can expect the Xiaomi 15 to last the whole day on a single charge. Topping it up is also quick with its 90W fast charging.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra

Moving on to the best that the company has to offer, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra brings some notable differences from the base model. It has a more capable camera package with a 50MP camera and a 200MP camera. Just like the Xiaomi 15, the Ultra variant uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and it comes with 16GB of RAM. Also, it has a slightly larger 5,410mAh battery; however, the Chinese version has a massive 6,000mAh battery.

Realme Ultra

Here is a phone targeted at true photography professionals. The Realme Ultra is a concept phone that allows the user to attach actual professional-grade camera lenses. The back camera bump has a mechanism that lets you clamp them on. Realme showed off a 3X telephoto camera lens and a 10x telephoto camera lens. The latter can reach up to 60X. While that’s not as impressive as Samsung’s 100X zoom, remember that it’s all optical. The Realme Ultra is one of the most interesting phones to be shown off.

Xiaomi Modular Optical System

In a similar vein, Xiaomi brought a concept phone with camera lenses that can attach to the back. It will differ from Realme’s concept in that the lens won’t attach directly to the camera. Rather, there’s a magnetic ring on the back of the phone where you’d typically see a MagSafe ring. The camera lens shown off at MWC has a 35mm equivalent focal length. This is an amazing concept, and it could make smartphone photography much better.

HONOR made a pretty big splash at MWC with its interesting phones. however, the company also has a line of tablets. It unveiled the new HONOR Pad V9, the company’s latest premium tablet offering. It has a large 11.5-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This means that you’ll have a great viewing experience. Moving to the internals, the HONOR Pad V9 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra. this is a pretty powerful chip from the company, and it was built with AI in mind. So, you’ll get some pretty powerful performance. This is also because of the 12GB of RAM. Overall, this is an amazing option for power users.

HONOR Watch 5 Ultra

No longer an underdog in the tech space, HONOR has a line of smartwatches. The latest in the line is the HONOR Watch 5 Ultra. As the name implies, it’s the most powerful smartwatch that the company has to offer. It has a gorgeous premium design that looks better than most other watches on the market. Along with that, this watch comes with over 100 sports activities for people who want to stay active. To top it all off, this watch can last you a full 10 days of usage without needing to be charged. That’s pretty stellar.

While there are all types of smartwatches on the market, Huawei really wowed people with its health-focused Huawei Watch D2. It may look like a normal smartwatch, but it’s designed to keep an eye on your blood pressure. In fact, there’s a special watch band and pump that help the watch get a proper reading. It’s great for people who want to get an idea of their blood pressure without going to the doctor. What’s also neat is that you can use the Huawei Watch D2 with either your Android phone or iPhone, so you’re not tied to a HarmonyOS phone. It’s a great smartwatch with some great features.

HONOR Earbuds Open

HONOR makes a ton of devices including phones, tablets, and smartwatches. The company also makes earbuds, and it unveiled its new TWS earbuds. Called the HONOR Earbuds Open, they give you a very wide and open sound. With dedicated subwoofers, you can expect rich bass that gives you a warm sound. Along with great audio quality, these earbuds will let you summon an AI voice assistant without using verbal hotwords. These features, along with the ANC and 22-hour battery life make them an amazing pair of earbuds.

TECNO MEGABOOK S14

TECNO is on the fast track to becoming a major tech brand. At MWC, the company showed off a selection of laptops. The most advanced model is the MEGABOOK S14. This is the thinnest 14-inch laptop, coming in at just 899g. While it’s thin physically, it’s not thin in terms of power. It uses the Snapdragon X Elite processor. It has up to 32GB of RAM, so you’re getting a powerful computer. Adding to this is the Copilot+ integration, so it’s perfect for people who want to get into AI computing. All of this power is wrapped in an ultra-portable package.

This is a computer for a more mid-range market, but that doesn’t mean that it’s a weak performer. The TECNO K15S uses the 13th-gen Intel Core i5, and it comes with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. This means that it will most likely satisfy all of your needs if you’re doing modest work. It can also be a great companion if you’re doing heavy work. You’re getting a large 15.6-inch display, so you’ll have a large canvas for content creation. One of the best features of this computer is the large 70Wh battery. This means that you’ll be able to use it for hours on end before needing to plug it in. Lastly, there are two USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card reader, an Ethernet RJ45 port, and two USB-C ports.

TECNO AI Glasses Pro

Along with its phones, TECNO also took the wraps off of two new pairs of AI glasses. The TECNO AI Glasses Pro are the more advanced model, and they bring some neat features. Firstly, they look almost like a typical pair of glasses, so you’ll blend in better with the rest of society. You’ll be able to summon an AI assistant by just performing a gesture on the temple. When you do, you’ll get verbal feedback on what you ask it. What’s nice is that the Pro model will also show you an AR screen that displays notes, directions, and more. They look like they’ll push this form factor forward.

Infinix Solar Energy Reserving Technology

Don’t you hate getting caught outside without your charger? Well, Infinix has a solution. The company showed off the Infinix Solar Energy Reserving Technology at MWC. This is a pretty straightforward innovation; the company developed a concept phone with solar panels on the back. This means that it will charge when it’s exposed to sunlight. One interesting thing is that the phone could possibly charge with other forms of light, and not just sunlight. That seems like something that will revolutionize how we use our phones.

On the subject of solar-powered devices, there’s the Lenovo Solar PC Concept. As the name suggests, this is a computer that uses the power of the sun. One of the main issues with computers is that they need a lot of power, and you’re not always around an outlet. Well, if you’re stuck outside, and there’s no plug in sight, the computer will charge itself using the sunlight. It’s perfect for people who are always on the go.
