That’s a wrap, folks! MWC is officially over. It was a great event, and we saw some great tech unveiled. However, which devices were the best? Which ones stood out among the riff-raff as the most interesting, innovative, and intriguing? That’s what we’re going to answer. We gave a handful of devices our award for Best of MWC, and here’s a list of all of them.

While technically launching before MWC, the HONOR Magic7 RSR Porsche Design was a pretty popular device. As you can tell by the name, this phone was designed in collaboration with the car company, and it shows. Coming with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite and an impressive 24GB of RAM, this phone is an absolute powerhouse. The large 5,850mAh battery makes this an all-day phone. This device is one of the best on the market, and it marks HONOR as a true competitor in the smartphone space.

This is the phone that broke the internet a couple of months ago, and it’s still making waves. Huawei brought the first tri-fold phone to the market. This 3-fold phone almost costs 3 grand, but it still dazzled the masses for how refined it is. Coming with a capable camera package, an optimized operating system, a powerful Kirin 9010 processor, and 16GB of RAM, it’s definitely one of the most capable phones on the market. Let’s not forget about the screen; it has a 6.4-inch, 7.9-inch, and 10.2-inch display. It’s truly a phone that can become a tablet.

TECNO has a range of stellar premium mid-range phones under its Camon series. During MWC, the company took the wraps off of the Camon 40 series of phones. The star of the show is the Camon 40 Premier. Using the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC and 12GB of RAM, this phone can power through whatever anyone throws at it. TECNO brought two new designs with this phone series, with one looking similar to last year’s Camon 30 Premier. This phone also has a powerful camera setup with three 50MP cameras. One of them is a 50MP periscopic zoom camera. All in all, the TECNO Camon 40 Premier will dominate the mid-range sector.

Xiaomi brought its latest series of smartphones to the event, and the first one is the Xiaomi 15. This phone checks all of the boxes to create a complete flagship smartphone experience. What’s notable about the phone is its compact size. It’s the perfect phone for people who want a 6.36-inch device they can use with one hand. Using the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, this phone will have no issues with performance whatsoever. This is also thanks to the 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. With a decent 5,240mAh battery, you can expect the Xiaomi 15 to last the whole day on a single charge. Topping it up is also quick with its 90W fast charging.

Moving on to the best that the company has to offer, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra brings some notable differences from the base model. It has a more capable camera package with a 50MP camera and a 200MP camera. Just like the Xiaomi 15, the Ultra variant uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and it comes with 16GB of RAM. Also, it has a slightly larger 5,410mAh battery; however, the Chinese version has a massive 6,000mAh battery.

Realme Ultra

Best of MWC 2025 Realme Ultra

Here is a phone targeted at true photography professionals. The Realme Ultra is a concept phone that allows the user to attach actual professional-grade camera lenses. The back camera bump has a mechanism that lets you clamp them on. Realme showed off a 3X telephoto camera lens and a 10x telephoto camera lens. The latter can reach up to 60X. While that’s not as impressive as Samsung’s 100X zoom, remember that it’s all optical. The Realme Ultra is one of the most interesting phones to be shown off.

In a similar vein, Xiaomi brought a concept phone with camera lenses that can attach to the back. It will differ from Realme’s concept in that the lens won’t attach directly to the camera. Rather, there’s a magnetic ring on the back of the phone where you’d typically see a MagSafe ring. The camera lens shown off at MWC has a 35mm equivalent focal length. This is an amazing concept, and it could make smartphone photography much better.

HONOR made a pretty big splash at MWC with its interesting phones. however, the company also has a line of tablets. It unveiled the new HONOR Pad V9, the company’s latest premium tablet offering. It has a large 11.5-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This means that you’ll have a great viewing experience. Moving to the internals, the HONOR Pad V9 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra. this is a pretty powerful chip from the company, and it was built with AI in mind.
