Best Of MWC 2025: HONOR Magic7 Pro

Great in-hand feel & a powerful camera setup

The HONOR Magic7 Pro is the company’s latest flagship smartphone. It was announced globally back in January, but many people managed to check it out at MWC 2025. It managed to attract a lot of consumers, and it is on the receiving end of one of our Best of MWC 2025 awards. Our HONOR Magic7 Pro review has been out for a while now, so you can get a lot more information about the device, in case you’re interested. This is a true powerhouse of a smartphone.

The HONOR Magic7 Pro is more comfortable to use than you’d think

The HONOR Magic 7 Pro is not a small phone, not at all. This device has a 6.8-inch display, and it’s quite large. The thing is, it does seem small in the hand, when you’re actually using it. I joked around that it’s the smallest 6.8-inch smartphone that I ever used, and I still stand by that. A number of smartphones with 6.8-inch displays seem bigger than this one. HONOR’s design team can take credit for that. The bezels around the display are very small, while the quad micro-curved design philosophy does well here.

Not only is the HONOR Magic7 Pro smaller than you’d think it is, it’s also more comfortable. Yes, it’s slippery, but it doesn’t feel as slippery as many other glass-clad smartphones I’ve used. It also has a good weight to it at 223 grams, while it’s not too heavy. It’s a real treat to use this handset, that’s for sure. It does have a lot to offer in various other way, however, as it has immensely powerful features and specs under the hood.

Powerful specs combined with AI & great cameras

You’ll find the usual set of powerful specs here, the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 flash storage, and so on. A 5,270mAh battery is included in the European model, while a 5,850mAh unit sits inside the phone in other markets. 100W wired charging is supported, and 80W wireless charging too. If you have HONOR’s 100W wireless charging stand, you’ll be amazed how fast this phone can charge up without the need to plug it in manually.

There is also a very fast in-display fingerprint scanner in use here and advanced facial scanning. HONOR’s 3D facial scanning can see even in pitch dark conditions, and it worked flawlessly for us. We also have to mention a bevy of AI features that HONOR offers within its MagicOS 9 software, which is based on Android 15. To top it all off, IP68 and IP69 certifications are here too, along with an immensely powerful triple camera setup on the back. This phone is a complete package, no matter how you slice it.
