ASUS Reveals Launch Date For ZenFone 12 Ultra, Its New Flagship

The ASUS ZenFone 12 Ultra is on its way, the company has just revealed its launch date. As a reminder, the ASUS ZenFone 11 Ultra arrived back in March last year. So the new one will follow 11 months after the ZenFone 11 Ultra.

The ASUS ZenFone 12 Ultra’s launch date has been announced

With that being said, ASUS has confirmed that the phone will arrive on February 6. The company went to X (formerly known as Twitter) in order to announce the news.

In its X post, the company not only confirms the launch date, but it teases the phone’s AI and camera prowess. ASUS said the following: “Zenfone 12 Ultra unlocks the power of AI, so get ready to step into a new era of mobile photography excellence!”

In case you’re wondering, the launch event for the device will kick off at 2:30 PM (GMT+8). That translates to 7:30 AM CET / 6:30 AM BST / 1:30 AM EST / 22:30 PM PST (February 5).

ASUS kicks off its promotion of this phone with AI and camera focus

ASUS also used the #AISNapinStyle hashtag for this announcement. Much like all other major smartphone OEMs, ASUS is also planning to go heavy on AI, at least in terms of its marketing materials.

The ASUS ZenFone 11 Ultra was a solid phone, but it wasn’t exactly a huge hit. With that phone, the company ditched the small flagship form factor of the ZenFone 9 and ZenFone 10, and went with a huge phone once again.

If we had to guess, we’d say that the ZenFone 12 Ultra will also be a larger device. Considering that the company did not mention the ASUS ZenFone 12 series, or anything like that, we do presume this will be the only phone that will launch. There won’t be a smaller alternative to it, or anything like that.
