Apple WWDC 2025 Date Officially Confirmed; Read All The Details

Apple finally gave us an official date for this year’s WWDC event. The Cupertino giant has announced that it will hold WWDC 2025 from June 9th to June 13th. Its keynote will kick off on June 9th at 10AM PT/1PM ET, followed by a Platforms State of the Union presentation. Then, there’s an extensive schedule of sessions and labs aimed at developers.

How to attend Apple WWDC 2025?

Apple CEO Tim Cook will probably take the stage to start the keynote on June 9th. Similar to the previous years, some developers, students, and media personnel will get the opportunity to attend the special keynote at Apple Park.

Just like last year’s event, Apple is going to livestream the June 9th keynote on its website and YouTube channel for free. Apple product developers and students can attend the conference sessions for free online. As expected, this year’s conference will offer video sessions and opportunities to connect with Apple engineers and designers in online labs.

What to expect from WWDC 2025?

Analysts expect Apple to introduce iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, tvOS 19, and visionOS 3 at WWDC 2025. This could be the company’s most packed software release event to date.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, iOS 19 “will fundamentally change the look of the operating systems and make Apple’s various software platforms more consistent.” Gurman believes that Apple will unify the look of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS at the upcoming developer conference. Apple will also deliver a more straightforward experience through its OS platforms, suggests Gurman.

Additionally, the WWDC 2025 will have major announcements surrounding Apple Intelligence. Based on the rumors, Siri will play a huge part in the upcoming keynote in June. Many of the promised Apple Intelligence features have centered on Siri so far, but Apple hasn’t yet delivered them.

That said, we are at least expecting new features for the Apple Watch with the new watchOS 12 update. Since there’s some time for the WWDC 2025 to unfold, we expect the rumor mill to deliver more details about the newer version of Apple OS platforms soon.
