Apple IPhone 16e Is Now Available To Pre-Order

Apple announced the iPhone 16e quite recently, a couple of days ago, in fact. Well, the iPhone 16e is now available to pre-order, if you’re interested. Two days after its launch, it’s available to pre-order in a ton of markets.

The iPhone 16e is now available to pre-order in 59 countries & regions

The iPhone 16e has just become available to pre-order in 59 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Türkiye, the UAE, the UK, and the US.

The device will ship to consumers in a week, which is also when it will become available to purchase in stores. To be perfectly clear, it’s going on sale on February 28. If you’d like to pre-order one in the US, purchase links are included below the article.

With that being said, the iPhone 16e is essentially the iPhone SE 4. Apple decided not to use that name, though, as the phone now has a different design. It’s the iPhone 14 on the front, and iPhone SE 3 on the back (but larger). It’s a weird combination of phones, basically.

It has an odd design, and Apple had to cut corners

In addition to having such an odd design with a notch, which Apple ditched, it also doesn’t include MagSafe magnets. You’ll need to get a case if you’d like to use your MagSafe accessories.

In addition to that, the iPhone 16e uses a binned Apple A18 chip, and it has Apple’s first in-house 5G modem. Its name is the Apple C1, and it replaces Qualcomm’s 5G modem. Apple is promising better battery life because of that.

There is a single camera on the back, the one from the iPhone 16, but the thing is, not all features are included. This is a nerfed version of the iPhone 16’s main camera, basically.

As you can see, the iPhone 16e is… a rather odd product. There are other differences compared to the iPhone 16, in case you’re interested.
