A subtle change in Android 16 Beta 4 adds Dynamic Color to the always-on display (AOD) clocks.
Previously, the thin outlines for all clocks were white. The following expressive, bubbly clocks now make use of Dynamic Color on the Pixel AOD.
This applies to both the fullscreen and shrunken (top-left corner) versions.
Depending on your theme, this change might not be obvious given how thin the AOD clocks are. Just compare it to the corner date and battery percentage. This touch of color matches the weather icon.
Green appears to be the most standout hue in our brief testing. In general, this makes the clocks slightly darker than the previous white versions, but the change is noticeable.
