This year’s CES is throwing up a lot of surprises in the form of incredible new tech products designed for both entertainment and productivity. Hisong’s latest launch is a microphone that falls into the latter category. The startup has brought to CES 2025 the AirStudio One, which stands out for being practically a professional handheld recording platform.
Hisong brings AirStudio One to CES, an all-in-one mic for on-the-go professional audio recording
The process of recording professional audio, whether for music or video, can be complex. It often requires specialized recording studios and soundproof spaces to get the best results. This takes away the option of recording “on the go,” which could mean missing out on moments of inspiration. Hisong has developed the AirStudio One with that in mind.
In its small body, the AirStudio One combines a condenser microphone, an in-ear monitoring system—earbuds—a mixer, and an audio interface. That means you no longer have to carry around multiple pieces of equipment to perform professional audio recording tasks or limit yourself to a particular studio or room to create content.
“Thanks to its lightweight design, AirStudio One allows creators to capture inspiration anywhere—from a café to outdoor environments or while on the go,” says Hisong.
The AirStudio One is perfect for all kinds of professionals who need to record high-quality sound. This includes musicians, streamers, YouTubers, podcasters, and more. Not having to carry around a bunch of cables, headphones, and a mixer is quite convenient. It can also make recording audio at home easier by saving you time that you would have spent setting up equipment and organizing cables.
You can use the microphone both wirelessly and through a 3.5mm analog interface. A dedicated app offers multiple content creation options like an audio mixer, adjustable EQ, and sound effects, among others.
A crowdfunded product; launch planned for this year
The Hisong AirStudio One is not yet a product ready for the commercial market. The all-in-one wireless microphone is in the trial phase but is expected to hit the market sometime in 2025. The company will use crowdfunding to launch the product. While Hisong has not yet revealed the price of the AirStudio One, it says that early backers will be able to get “up to 40 percent off.”
Hisong shared at CES 2025 a short video showing some of the ways you can use the AirStudio One professionally. In the video, an artist set up his own little “recording studio” with the microphone, a wireless USB-C adapter on a tablet, and the dedicated app. We hope to hear more news about the product’s price and availability soon.
