Right now, Amazon is offering a great deal on one of Samsung’s best gaming monitors, the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9, a hulking behemoth of a gaming monitor that will bring your games to life like never before.

This monitor normally retails for $2,299.99, but Samsung is slashing the price by $500 for Amazon Gaming Week, bringing the final price down to $1,799.99. That’s pretty good for a monitor of this size, and especially this one as it has some of Samsung’s most advanced features.

Now, it’s worth noting that the all-time low price for this monitor was hundreds of dollars less than this during Black Friday last year, as it came down to $1,399.99. Having said that, the current discount is nothing to be angry about, as it’s still really good.

This is a dual 4K monitor with a super, super wide screen that takes up a lot of desk space. So, you’ll need a pretty large desk if you want to work this into your setup. It also has a refresh rate of 240Hz which is plenty fast for smooth gaming visuals. Although you will need a pretty beefy PC if you want to get close to hitting those peak frame rates to match the refresh rate cap on a monitor this size. It’s also possible that you may need to adjust the resolution of your game to get those higher numbers, again, given the size of the display.

Refresh rate aside, what really makes this monitor special is the size and the extra features. Such as the picture-by-picture mode. The picture-by-picture mode is amazing because you can bring up two source inputs at the same time, side-by-side on the monitor. There are also several inputs for plugging in multiple devices, and the auto source switch+, so the monitor knows which source to pull a picture from the moment you turn something on.
