Ahead of the Computex 2025 event, Acer has announced several important products in its laptop and PC lineups. The company first showcased its new machines designed for gaming, along with ASUS and other big names. Now we’ll take a look at the devices designed for creative folks. Acer unveiled the new Swift X 14 AI and the Swift X 14, two sleek laptops designed to be your reliable partners in all things creative.
The Acer Swift X duo of laptops aren’t just pretty faces. Both pack some serious power and smart AI features to boost your workflow. Designers, artists, and other industry professionals will find powerhouses in these devices thanks to the latest Intel and AMD chips, AI smarts, and RTX muscle.
The Swift X 14 AI takes the spotlight thanks to the latest AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors. This means it’s geared up for smooth on-device tasks like rendering, 3D modeling, and real-time visualizations. As a Copilot+ PC, it’s also ready to handle demanding AI workloads and comes with some cool, exclusive AI experiences. The list includes improved search, creative tools, and even live captions.

Joining the AI-powered model is the standard Swift X 14. This particular model relies on the latest Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2). This laptop promises responsive performance for all your creative apps and boasts a battery that can keep you going throughout the day. So, whether you’re team AMD or Intel, Acer has you covered.
But the real muscle in both these machines comes from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs This generation is built on NVIDIA’s new Blackwell architecture. So, you’ll get a significant boost in AI-accelerated workflows for things like live streaming, video editing, and 3D rendering. In other words, get ready for smoother experiences and next-level graphics. Both laptops are also NVIDIA Studio-validated, ensuring they’re optimized for your favorite creative apps right out of the box. Plus, they support the AI-powered NVIDIA DLSS 4 tech for even better performance during gaming sessions.
As their names suggest, the main difference between both models lie in their AI processing power. The AI variant boasts an NPU with up to 50 TOPS, while the standard model stays at 13 TOPS. While the latter is still capable of accessing AI, it’s the Swift X 14 AI that offers the full package. However, both share the vast majority of specs in other areas.
Stunning visuals and intuitive interaction
For creators, a good display is non-negotiable, and the Swift X duo doesn’t disappoint. Both laptops feature a 14.5-inch 3K OLED touch display that’s Calman-verified. So, you can trust the colors you see on the screen are accurate right from the moment you power it on. With full DCI-P3 color range support, your animations, photos, and videos will look vibrant and true to life. The displays also have a taller 16:10 aspect ratio for a more immersive view and are protected by smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. Acer has even included their Light Sensing technology to automatically adjust the color temperature and brightness based on your surroundings.

And for those who like to get hands-on, the new Swift X models feature extra-large haptic touchpads that offer precise feedback and smooth navigation. They also support MPP 2.5 tilt-enabled styluses, making it easy for you to draw, design, edit, and take notes with accuracy and ease. The sleek design even allows the laptops to lay flat, which can be super handy for collaboration and creative projects.
Advanced cooling and on-the-go connectivity
Acer has also paid attention to keeping these powerhouses running smoothly. They’ve included advanced thermal tech with two TwinAir stereo ring fans, dual copper heat pipes, and a special air inlet keyboard to efficiently dissipate heat.
Staying connected is also a breeze with a 1080p FHD recognition IR webcam for secure facial login via Windows Hello. The laptops also feature Acer User Sensing technology, which can detect when you’re in front of the screen to log you in or wake up the system. It also locks it when you step away. For clear communication, Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 works with a triple microphone array to minimize background noise during calls. You also get the latest connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6E and a variety of ports.
