10 Of The Coolest Tech Products At CES 2025

The tech extravaganza that is CES is in full swing this week, with companies showing off their latest innovations and products at the four-day event. As things settle down and come to a close, it’s time to look back at the exciting new tech we got to check out on the ground at this year’s Las Vegas show. Here’s a roundup of some of the coolest tech we saw at CES 2025!

From mini panel lights to pixel art and a smart lamp that plays music, Govee had plenty to show off at CES

Govee Gaming Pixel Light Gaming

Govee’s latest innovations are not only exciting but made us rethink how we can use light to completely change the vibe of a space in our homes.

That starts with the Govee Gaming Pixel Light. Whether mounted on a wall or placed on a table, this dynamic lighting solution complements any gaming setup. You can choose from more than 20 gaming presets to create an immersive atmosphere or capture gaming visuals in real time.

And while the Pixel Light is catered towards gamers, it’s so much more than that. You can pick from more than 150 presets for things like weather updates, sports scores, and even track Bitcoin information. Many will love the ability to design their own pixel art and animated GIFs, all running at a smooth 30fps. Have a cool idea, but you aren’t sure how to go about it? Govee’s AI model will help turn it into creative illuminated effects and illustrations!

Another cool product is the Govee Table Lamp 2 Pro x Sound by JBL, the perfect solution for anyone looking for a lighting solution that also plays music. The lamp uses 210 LED beads with RGBICWW technology with a maximum brightness of 600 lumens. You can control each bead independently to enjoy a truly customized lighting experience or choose from hundreds of presets.

The exciting draw here is the built-in 10W JBL speaker, and you can use two of these table lamps to enjoy stereo sound. Combining a lamp and a speaker only makes sense if they work together, and, of course, you can now make the lighting dance to the music. The Table Lamp 2 Pro x Sound by JBL pulses to the beat with real-time light synchronization. Whatever the ambiance you’re trying to create, Govee has you covered with light and sound.

The Govee Gaming Pixel Light and Table 2 Pro x Sound by JBL will be available in late Q2 2025.

Eureka shows us the future of smart home cleaning technology

Eureka J15 Max Ultra (2)

Paul Jones / Android Authority

Robot vacuums and home cleaning tech continue to be a highlight at CES, with companies like Eureka pushing the limits of these devices. The Eureka J15 Max Ultra truly earns its moniker with some of the highest suction power we’ve seen on a robot vacuum—a whopping 22,000 Pa—and a slew of AI-powered features that will make your cleaning experience a breeze.

The feature that stands out right away is IntelliView AI 2.0. This system combines a LiDAR, a Line Laser, normal RGB cameras, an LED light, and the new infrared sensor to spot and clean tricky messes, like, say, clear liquids on white tiles, and it can “see” in poor lighting conditions or in the dark.

The smart system isn’t just about spotting the mess but also how it goes about cleaning it. The J15 Max Ultra can switch between mopping and vacuuming without missing a beat when it spots wet or dry messes and lifts the mop when it detects a carpet.

With that much suction power, you know the J15 Max Ultra isn’t going to have any trouble sucking up dust and debris. One concern that any pet owner will attest to is fur and hair buildup. The device’s FlexiRazor Hair Detangling Function takes care of that problem, and even the redesigned side brush, which Eureka calls Dragon Claw, is made to prevent any tangling.

One of Eureka’s coolest features, ScrubExtend, which extends the mop for better mopping coverage, now gets a companion in SweepExtend for the brush to reach difficult-clean areas like corners and around furniture.

And once all the cleaning is taken care of, the Eureka J15 Max Ultra will also clean itself. Its feature-packed base station will automatically empty dust, remove dirty water, add fresh water, wash and dry the mop with hot water and air, and also clean the mop tray to scrape off debris to avoid mold and odor buildup. With a large 4L dust bag and big water tanks, you can enjoy months of hands-free cleaning before any manual intervention is required.

If you’re looking for one of the best robot vacuums around, this is the one to get. The Eureka J15 Max Ultra will be available in June 2025.

DREO’s innovative smart home gadgets bring the wind inside your home

dreo polyfan 707s ces 2025

Paul Jones / Android Authority

DREO is a company that has been making waves since 2021 and, in that short time, is already the leading brand on Amazon for fans and heaters. They are all about blending cutting-edge technology with sleek designs, a combination they’ve absolutely nailed.

The PolyFan 707S is the star of the show at CES this year. Its Wind Motion Technology uses millimeter-wave radar to adjust the airflow based on where people are in the room. Are you worried about reach? The fan can send airflow up to 110 feet and twist and turn in any way it needs, with up to 150° oscillation.

Keeping everything running is an ultra-quiet DC motor, so you don’t have to worry about noise, whether it’s in your home office when you’re in a meeting or by your bedside while you’re sleeping. It also features voice control with Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri, or via the DREO app, so you’re not struggling to reach for control panel buttons or a remote to get it to work.

Another mind-blowing innovation that DREO showed off was the Wind Motion Simulator, intended to redefine how you interact with the environment. Say you’re playing a driving game like Forza. The fan syncs with your driving speed and changes the airflow in real-time, thanks to DREO’s advanced motor and IoT technology. If you, by any chance, were missing the wind through your hair while “driving,” the Wind Motion Simulator will make it feel like you’re actually in the car.

And DREO isn’t stopping at fans and heaters, either. At CES, the company showcased its latest line of smart kitchen gadgets like the ChefMaker and BaristaMaker, bringing an innovative edge to cooking and coffee-making.

DREO is setting the bar for how smart, stylish, and fun home tech can really be, and it’s exciting to see where the company goes next.

The DREO PolyFan 707S will be available in May 2025.

The TCL 60XE NXTPAPER 5G makes it easy to switch between standard and e-ink displays

Harley Maranan / Android Authority

If you aren’t aware of the NXTPAPER feature, it’s an anti-glare coating on the display that significantly reduces reflections. This makes reading text on the screen very comfortable, akin to what you’d get with an e-reader. In fact, when you switch to the Max Ink mode, which is now done with the simple press of a button, the NXTPAPER Key, the screen becomes monochrome and provides a Kindle-like experience.

That e-reader experience translates to battery life as well. When enabled, Max Ink mode provides a whopping seven days of battery life. But even if you leave it as standard, the 60XE’s 5,010mAh battery provides excellent battery life anyway.

Another highlight of the phone is its beautiful design. While not made of the most premium materials, the textured plastic back, flat sides, and round camera housing give this phone a premium look. Despite its entry-level pricing, the 60XE NXTPAPER has some decent hardware, including an FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera, and a 32MP camera for selfies.

It’s hard to believe that if you want a smartphone with NXTPAPER and the NXTPAPER Key in the US, the TCL 60XE is your only option. And it’s a good option to buy, with the phone starting at just $199. We don’t have an exact timeline yet, but the TCL 60XE NXTPAPER will be released in the US this year.

You don’t have to think about which display size to get with the Lenovo Thinkbook Plus Gen 6 Rollable

Harley Maranan / Android Authority

One of the biggest decisions we have to make is regarding the size of the display when buying a laptop. Do you want the portability of a 13- or 14-inch laptop or the enhanced visuals available with a 16- or 17-inch screen? The Lenovo Thinkbook Plus Gen 6 Rollable asks the question, “Why not both?”

If the name hasn’t already given it away, Lenovo has fitted this laptop with a rollable display that extends its 14-inch OLED screen to a 16.7-inch one. When you first open up the laptop, there doesn’t seem to be anything out of the ordinary. The display bezels are thicker than what you’d expect from a current-gen laptop, and it’s a bit heavy, but that’s not unusual. What is new are a couple of buttons next to the delete key to roll the screen up or down. Press the button, and the 14-inch screen rolls up to a 16.7-inch display.

Granted, the orientation isn’t quite right if you’re looking for a traditional display experience; it’s more vertical than horizontal, and the placement of the button right next to the delete key is iffy if you press “delete” a lot. Of course, there are plenty of scenarios where a vertical display makes sense; if you’re a coder, for example. It’s a solid laptop otherwise, too. You can max out the specs to get the Intel Ultra 7 (2nd series) processor, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage.

Admittedly, the Lenovo Thinkbook Plus Gen 6 Rollable is a niche product that likely won’t attract many buyers on day one. But what excites me most is the innovation on display. If you make this a side roller, you will eventually get the more traditional laptop screen experience across sizes. I’m most looking forward to the possibilities. When it’s available, this laptop will cost a hefty $3500.

No more spending hours under the sun thanks to Mammotion’s robot lawnmowers

Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD

Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD

Mammotion’s robot lawnmowers are some of the coolest tech finds at CES this year. If you’ve spent even a minute under the scorching sun battling your lawnmower, these devices are exactly the life and time saver you’d expect them to be. Mammotion’s lineup blends smart tech with top-notch work, and its new products take it up to the next level.

Before diving into specific models, we have to mention the latest software addition to all newly announced Mammotion lawnmowers – UltraSense AI Vision. This provides cool features like accurate mapping, the ability to create virtual boundaries, and real-time obstacle avoidance. It can recognize and avoid up to 120 objects for a seamless and uninterrupted mowing experience. Every new Mammotion lawnmower comes with UltraSense AI Vision.

Speaking of lawnmower models, top-of-the-line is the LUBA 2 AWD Series. This lawnmower is made for difficult-to-handle lawns and large areas – up to 10,000 square meters (2.5 acres). With all-wheel drive, the LUBA 2 AWD can handle 80% slopes, thick grass, and wet spots with ease. On a single charge, the robot lawnmower can run for up to 4 hours and cover 2.5 acres in that time.

Mammotion YUKA

Paul Jones / Android Authority

Of course, the biggest highlight here has to be its mowing capabilities. A powerful 165W motor means it can cut tall, thick grass easily, and you can even set up to 60 zones and block off no-go areas with the app.

Then there’s the YUKA Series, featuring a first-of-its-kind 2-in-1 mowing and sweeping combo. With dual cutting discs and a 320mm cutting width, it gives a smooth, clean finish and even lets you make custom designs if you want to create your own crop circles. It’s the perfect option for mid-sized lawns up to 3,000 square meters (0.75 acres). The best part is that you can set it to automatically empty clipping at set spots.

Mammotion is setting the new standard in lawn care, and if you’re looking for the best, the LUBA 2 AWD and YUKA Series are both worth considering.

The latest Narwal flagship robot vacuum, the Narwal Flow, can do it all

Narwall Flow in Base Station

Paul Jones / Android Authority

Robot vacuums continue to get more capable, but if you were hoping for a home cleaning gadget that can truly do it all, Narwal has the answer – the Narwal Flow. Packed with innovative new features, ample power, and an incredible self-cleaning base station, you can enjoy months of hands-free cleaning with the company’s newest flagship robot.

If you’ve ever seen your robot vacuum streak pasta sauce across the floor as it tries to “mop” it, Narwal’s FlowWash Mopping System is designed for you. The Flow comes with dual water tanks to ensure the continuous extraction of dirty water and the application of freshwater as needed. With its real-time self-cleaning mop, you don’t have to worry about stubborn stains and streaks across the floor.

The Flow also uses a track mop with EdgeReach technology to cover a much larger area while mopping than the competition. This ensures that there are no missed spots, as you might see with robots with dual mop setups.

Narwall Flow on Carpet

Paul Jones / Android Authority

The Narwal Flow is also a game-changer in carpet cleaning. With a whopping 20,000 Pa suction power and the Deep Carpet Boost Mode, the device doubles the rate of dust and debris pickup compared to the competition and older Narwal robots. The roller and side brushes are also designed to provide zero hair tangling, a huge necessity for anyone with pets.

You don’t even have to worry about misplaced socks or wires getting in the way. With an AI chip with an industry-leading 10 TOPS of computing power and dual RGB HD cameras, the robot can recognize up to 200 objects and easily avoid them while following its cleaning path.

And finally, there’s the 8-in-1 base station that takes care of everything after the robot has done its job. From dust emptying to mop washing, hot water mop cleaning and hot air drying, and even water tank refilling, you can enjoy up to 120 days of maintenance-free operation.

Enjoy a spotless pool and pristine water with SMOROBOT’s innovative pool cleaners

Smorobot L20 1

SMOROBOT is a high-tech company that specializes in pool-cleaning robots, and they had plenty to show at this year’s CES.

The first of the lineup that caught our attention is the SMOROBOT P10. It may be a compact robot, but the P10 has no trouble tackling large and very dirty pools. Combining advanced suction with smart navigation, this pool cleaner ensures that every corner of your pool is spotless when it’s done.

One of its biggest features is SMOROBOT’s TriOptix Vision technology. As the name suggests, the P10 uses sonar, laser sensors, and an advanced camera for area mapping, debris identification, and efficient route navigation. It can easily differentiate between debris and obstacles like drains, ladders, steps, and more, and create the perfect path the navigate around the pool.

With a long-lasting battery that ensures complete cleaning in one go, the SMOROBOT P10 makes pool maintenance effortless.

The SMOROBOT L20 is also designed to clean large pools. It features a dual-motor system and enhanced mapping capabilities that help it understand your pool’s layout. The L20 is fast and efficient, and with up to 5.5 hours of runtime on a single charge, it will provide you with a spotless pool.

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority

Finally, there’s the SMOROBOT X1CW, made for anyone wondering when AI would join the pool-cleaning game. The X1CW integrates cutting-edge AI for smarter cleaning, real-time obstacle detection, and the ability to adjust its cleaning path as it goes. All put together, you’re going to get a thorough clean every time. The model’s top feature, though, is its incredible battery life. You can set the X1CW to clean your pool every 48 hours, and even then, it only needs to be charged once a week.

All SMOROBOT pool cleaners can be controlled through an app. One of the app’s coolest features is Sync & Optimize, which feeds data about the cleaning cycle back to SMOROBOT and continuously improves performance over time.

Whether you’re relaxing poolside or hosting a party, these robots will keep your pool pristine. From compact to feature-packed, there’s a SMOROBOT for every pool owner.

The Lenovo Legion Go S is now Steam (OS) powered

Harley Maranan / Android Authority

Handheld gaming devices have found a solid niche among gamers. There are quite a few options to choose between, from the Nintendo Switch to Windows-powered devices like the ASUS ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, and more, and arguably one of the best options around, the Steam Deck. A large contributor to the popularity of the Valve device is the gaming-centric Steam OS, which many say is leaps and bounds better than Windows when it comes to handheld gaming.

The Steam Deck has been the only option so far, but that has now changed with the arrival of the Lenovo Legion Go S—powered by Steam OS. This is the first officially licensed third-party device to run Steam OS and includes everything it entails, like cloud saves, Steam Remote Play, and, of course, easy access to the Steam storefront. You should even be able to switch your microSD card from the Steam Deck to the Legion Go S and have all your games show up.

Harley Maranan / Android Authority

Lenovo also announced a Windows version of the Legion Go S, so you do have a choice if you prefer the OS. Both come with largely identical specs, including an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip or the Z1 Extreme APU, with up to 32GB of RAM, up to 1TB SSD storage, and a 55.5Wh battery.

The Steam OS version of the Legion Go S will be available in May, priced at $500, while the Windows variant will set you back an additional $100. If the Steam Deck isn’t available in your market or if you were looking for an alternative anyway, you now have one in the Lenovo Legion Go S.

Razer’s Project Arielle is the concept gaming chair everyone wants

Razer Project Arielle chairs one lit red and one lit blue

Harley Maranan / Android Authority

Tech companies show off plenty of concept projects at CES. Many are showcased just for the wow factor, most land in the “what could have been” pile, and only a handful are eventually commercially available. One concept product that everyone is hoping will make it consumers is Razer’s Project Arielle – a temperature-controlled gaming chair that can keep you warm or cool you down.

It’s a classic Razer gaming chair at first glance. It’s comfortable, breathable, and has a mesh body and headrest. What you don’t see right away is the fanless climate control system at the bottom and bladeless fans in the backrest. You can control the speed of the fans and switch between heating or cooling with the press of a button. It’s Razer, so you’re also getting RGB lighting – red for heat and blue for cold – but the warmth or cold on your back is likely the better giveaway as to which mode you’re in.

Project Arielle is, unfortunately, a concept product for now. But it’s one that we sincerely hope will eventually be available and something we’d definitely buy.
