Xiaomi today launched its new range of smart Internet of Things (IoT) products, including the Buds 5 Pro earbuds, Watch S4 smartwatch, Electric Scooter 5 Max, and Smart Band 9 Pro in a new variant at the ongoing MWC 2025 trade show. The company launched the latest devices alongside the global counterparts of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra flagships, which it had already introduced in China earlier.
Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro series flaunts premium audio with Snapdragon Sound catetech suite
Talking about the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro first, the brand’s new earbuds deliver a premium audio experience thanks to the Snapdragon Sound technology suite and Qualcomm aptX Lossless tech. These are capable of delivering 48kHz/24bit sound at a high transmission bandwidth of up to 2.1Mbps. The audio accessory boasts a dual-amplifier coaxial triple-driver system to deliver deep bass, balanced mids, and an expansive soundstage.
The Harman Golden Ear Team master-tuned the pair of earbuds, and they offer up to 55dB hybrid active noise cancellation. The company claims that the Buds 5 Pro delivers up to 40 hours of continuous usage and 4.5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging time. The wearable lets users capture important conversations by pressing the case button and also supports AI-powered translation and transcription.
Xiaomi has also introduced the Buds 5 Pro (Wi-Fi) model as its first earbuds to support direct Wi-Fi connectivity with phones. Thanks to the Snapdragon Sound Technology suite and Qualcomm XPAN technology, the wearable delivers a massive 96kHz/24bit lossless bandwidth of up to 4.2Mbps for an “unmatched, high fidelity sound experience”. This one also has a triple-driver system to deliver rich bass, crisp highs, and expansive sound with various EQ profiles.
Xiaomi’s new Watch S4 smartwatch delivers a 15-day battery life
Xiaomi’s latest smartwatch, the Watch S4, delivers a 15-day battery life on a single charge. As per the brand, the wearable provides two days of usage with just five minutes of fast charging. The company says the wearable delivers 98 percent accurate heart rate monitoring, apart from support for 150+ sports modes.
Xiaomi’s Smart Band 9 Pro will now be available in a new colorway
Xiaomi also introduced last year’s Smart Band 9 Pro fitness tracker in a new Cream White colorway. This basic wearable features a square AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. As per the brand, the fitness band can last for up to 21 days on a single charge, and its heart rate accuracy is up by 15 percent from the previous model. Similar to the Watch S4, the Smart Band 9 Pro also supports 150+ sports modes and multiple strap options.
The Electric Scooter 5 Max was also launched at MWC 2025
As for the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Max, its 1,000W motor is capable of reaching 25km/hour, tackles 22 percent inclines, and supports a weight of up to 120kg. It has an improved dual-spring suspension on the front and rear, which smooths out rough roads and reduces wear. Furthermore, the scooter recovers energy while moving, adjusts on slopes, and holds steady when parked uphill. The new electric scooter delivers a 60km range and fully charges in three hours.
Finally, coming to the pricing, the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro earbuds will be available starting from €199.99 or around $207.
