Xiaomi 16 Ultra To Include A New, Even Larger Display

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra did not even launch just yet, and we already have some information about its successor. According to some new information, the Xiaomi 16 Ultra will include a new, even larger display.

That same display will also be used by the Xiaomi 16 Pro, by the way. The information comes from Digital Chat Station, one of the most accurate tipsters out there.

That display will measure 6.85 inches, and it will be an LTPO OLED display with a “2K+” resolution. It will have symmetrical bezels on all four sides, and those bezels will be very thin. They’ll be thinner than bezels on any iPhone. That panel will also be flat.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is coming later this month in China, and early next month globally. The Xiaomi 16 and Xiaomi 16 Pro will likely arrive in October if the company ends up sticking to its release cycle.

Do note that we’re talking about a China launch. The Xiaomi 15 Pro won’t even launch globally, while the Xiaomi 15 will arrive to global markets early next month, quite some time after its original launch.

That smartphone is coming in about a year from now, it’s now time for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra

The Xiaomi 16 Ultra will likely launch in about a year from now, so we’re still far away from that point. All three Xiaomi 16 series phones will likely utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s successor, though.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, on the other hand, is said to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite and offer a very compelling spec sheet. We’ve exclusively revealed its global specifications, not to mention that we’ve also shared its very compelling two-tone design.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is coming on March 2 to global markets, and it will launch as part of MWC 2025 in Barcelona.
