The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has just appeared in a hands-on video. That video has a duration of around a minute and a half, and it’ll give you a live look at all three color options of the phone.

That video is embedded below this paragraph, and the person in the video goes hands-on with all three color options. Needless to say, the dual-tone model is the most eye-catching. It combines vegan leather and glass on the back, and it’s inspired by Leica cameras.
The other two models seem to be made out of metal and glass. Each of the variants has a different trim around the camera island on the back. Xiaomi is utilizing a quad micro-curved design here, which means this phone’s display will be flat, but the glass on top of it will be slightly curved on all sides. Its frame will be flat on all sides, though, as expected.
Xiaomi officially shared some camera info
In addition to this hands-on video, Xiaomi had some official info to share too. The company has, via Weibo, revealed the details regarding the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s main and periscope telephoto cameras.
The phone will have a ‘Leica Ultra-Pure Optical System’, as Xiaomi calls it. The device is actually codenamed the ‘Night God’, so the emphasis is definitely on low light photography here.
Xiaomi basically confirmed that a 1-inch main camera will be in use here. We’re expecting that the Sony LYT-900 sensor will be used, but that’s not something that Xiaomi confirmed just yet.
The company did reveal more information about the periscope telephoto camera, however. Xiaomi will use a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Samsung’s ISOCELL HP9 sensor will be used, a 1/1.4-inch camera sensor.
It is said this camera is designed to offer clear zoom up to both 200mm and 400mm focal lengths. Xiaomi will also be using a special 24-layer ultra-low reflection glass on top of the camera.
