Where To Buy NVIDIA RTX 5080 And RTX 5090 Gaming PCs

NVIDIA’s new RTX 50-series GPUs went on sale this morning and while most or all of those are already out of stock (it is launch day for a hot-ticket item), you can still buy prebuilt PCs available sporting the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 GPUs inside. Building a PC on your own can be a very fun and rewarding experience. And it lets you customize every aspect of the rig. Don’t like this particular case? Not a problem. You’ll have several other options.

You also get a variety of options for every other component. In the end, you get something that is unique to your tastes. The only issue with this is, if you’re going for something with one of NVIDIA’s latest GPUs, you’ll hit a wall. All the GPUs are out of stock. With a prebuilt, you still have the chance to get something with an RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 inside. And some of the options available are highly customizable. So you can always upgrade and swap things out down the line.

There are several places to buy a new gaming PC with an RTX 5080 or an RTX 5090 GPU, and this includes the usual retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, Newegg, and Dell. There are also plenty of boutique brands like Starforge Systems, iBUYPOWER, and NZXT just to name a few. We’ve rounded up all the places we could think of that will be selling these prebuilt gaming desktops, and you can find them below.

As mentioned above there are several options for places to buy a prebuilt gaming PC with these new GPUs. Keep in mind that some places will be out of stock of certain models. We also don’t expect some of the more limited ones to be available for long. Especially now that prebuilts are the only option to get a new 50-series GPU without having to wait for more stock of the cards to show up.

Amazon

There are plenty of options on Amazon from various brands, including SkyTech Gaming, CLX, Mangrove, Ghost Gaming, and others. These will all vary in price but most seem to be around the $2,499.99 to $3,099.99 range. It’s worth mentioning that we’re familiar with CLX, SkyTech Gaming, and iBUYPOWER as brands. All of which typically sell on Amazon. They’re reputable, and worth consideration as the PCs perform well and the companies have decent customer support.

Alienware

Alienware officially announced the launch of its new RTX 50-series PCs today and you can pre-order two different configurations of its latest Area-51 model. Both of these are powered by the NVIDIA RTX 5080, as well as the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU. One model will get you 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage, and the other gets you 64GB of RAM and 4TB of storage. Prices start at $4,449.99 and $5,049.99 respectively.

Each configuration also comes with scalable CPU liquid cooling and a pretty stylish design for the chassis. Purchases are directly through Dell’s website.

Best Buy

Best Buy, like Amazon, has a range of different brands available for pre-order or purchase. This includes brands like SkyTech Gaming, CLX, iBUYPOWER, and others. Some of the options are already out of stock, so Best Buy may be a little more limited on what’s available at the moment. However, it’s also worth mentioning that quite a few models haven’t launched yet. For example, the ASUS ROG G700 is still listed as coming soon as are a couple of options from iBUYPOWER.

You may want to keep an eye on these if Best Buy is where you like to make all your PC gaming purchases.

Newegg

Newegg actually seems to have more than a few prebuilt gaming PCs with the RTX 5080 GPU inside that are still available for pre-order. Some are on backorder while others can be added to the cart now, for the time being at least. If you want a larger selection, Newegg might be the place to go.

B&H Photo

B&H Photo has a few options available for different gaming PCs with the RTX 5080, but considerably less than retailers like Amazon and Best Buy. None of the desktops they offer are in stock either. Not because they’re out of stock, but rather because they’re listed as coming soon. You’ll only find desktops from MSI, and CyberPower PC only at the time of writing.

Where to buy custom build-to-order RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 gaming PCs

Outside of the retailers above, there are several options for getting a new gaming PC with one of NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series GPUs where they’re built-to-order. These are the companies like iBUYPOWER, Starforge Systems, and NZXT. These PCs are built after the order is placed, so there’s a bit of a lead time on them. This means you may have to allow a little extra time for them to ship after they officially launch. As of now most of these are up for pre-order and can be paid for now. Some will be shipping around February 10, like the options from NZXT, while others ship in early March.

NZXT

NZXT has what looks like two options for PCs with the new 50-series GPUs. Both of these are the Player PC line but they do come in different cases. Specs are also slightly different. The RTX 5080 model is available for purchase now and it will ship by February 10. The RTX 5090 model is not available just yet and is listed as coming soon. You can, however, sign up to be notified when it’s released.

Starforge Systems

Starforge Systems has a few different prebuilt gaming PCs that will offer these new GPUs. These include the Explorer II Elite, the Voyager III Elite, and the Voyager III Pro. The first two come with an RTX 5090, while the last model comes with an RTX 5080. At the moment, only the RTX 5080-powered Voyager III Pro seems to be in stock.

MAINGEAR

MAINGEAR is another option for one of these specialized retailers who build your gaming PC to order. There are eight different model variants to choose from so you get a decent set of options. The company announced some of these new PCs back during CES but didn’t mention at the time what the GPUs would be. MAINGEAR also makes some pretty high-quality gaming PCs that look rather nice. We’d wager to say they’re some of the best-looking gaming PCs out there in the build-to-order space.

With that in mind, prices from MAINGEAR will be on the higher end for RTX 50-series PCs.
