Based on this information, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch quad-curved display with a 2K resolution. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package.

The device will also be IP68 and IP69 certified, just like its OnePlus 13 cousin. A 6,000mAh battery will be included in the package, while 80W charging is also tipped. So, it will be slightly reduced from 90W.

The tipster did not mention wireless charging, but this smartphone will almost certainly have it. If we had to guess, we’d say that 50W wireless charging will be on offer, along with reverse wireless charging.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite is expected to fuel this smartphone, even though the source did not mention that. Previous reports did mention some additional details about the phone.

A truly powerful camera setup is expected

The OPPO Find X8 Ultra is expected to include a 50-megapixel main camera (1-inch sensor, Sony’s LYT-900 unit), along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit (1/1.95-inch sensor, Sony IMX882).

Two periscope telephoto cameras are also expected. A 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with the Sony LYT-701 sensor (1/1.56-inch sensor, 75mm lens), and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with the Sony IMX882 sensor (1/1.95-inch sensor, 150mm lens).

Looking at the hardware here, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra could become the most powerful camera smartphone out there, at least in terms of camera sensors used: Hasselblad will also be a part of the picture. This phone could avoid global markets, though, it remains to be seen. The OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro did get global variants, though.
