OPPO is all set to introduce the Find X8s, Find X8s+, and Find X8 Ultra flagship smartphones at an event in China on April 10th. Ahead of the launch, the company has already revealed the designs of the upcoming phones via official renders. In addition, it recently revealed some features of the Find X8 Ultra, apart from sharing some camera samples. OPPO has now officially revealed some key camera specs of the Find X8 Ultra smartphone.

OPPO Find X8 Ultra’s camera specs will include the Lumo-oriented imaging system

Today, OPPO made a major announcement regarding Lumo, its in-house image engine. It will boast both hardware and software-level innovations to provide stunning image outputs, specially designed for portraits. The company claims it is the “most advanced mobile image system for portraits.”

The entire Find X8 series of phones will feature the Lumo-oriented imaging technology, which the brand refers to as the Lumo Light Condensation Imaging System. It combines a light-sensitive computational optical system with variable focal lengths of 15mm, 23mm, 70mm, and 135mm. Furthermore, it has a super-sensory digital imaging engine and support for ProXDR photos.

The Find X8 Ultra will offer faster focus speed and a new Sony LYT sensor

OPPO’s Find X8 Ultra or perhaps the entire X8 series of phones will offer a two-group floating design for the periscope camera setup. It will offer a 30% faster focus speed and a 10cm minimum focusing distance. The Ultra variant will also provide the industry’s first “Danxia” True Tone lens, which will have the company’s in-house zonal color temperature perception. It will be able to accurately restore colors across different zones.

Additionally, the Find X8 Ultra will have a super crystalline blue glass on top of the light sensor. It will enhance the infrared cut-off rate by 81% compared to the regular solutions. As per the earlier reports, the phone will flaunt a new Sony LYT-900 main lens. Since the official launch is just around the corner, we can expect the company to tease more features of the phone soon. It’s still unclear if OPPO will release the X8 Ultra globally.
