The Snapdragon 8 Elite is Qualcomm’s paciest chipset, forming the beating hearts of the best Android phones of 2025. But what are these devices, and which should you consider buying? Below, we look at the best Snapdragon 8 Elite phones, including their strengths, specs, and more!
The best Snapdragon 8 Elite phones
Editor’s note: We’ll regularly update this list of the best Snapdragon 8 Elite phones as new devices launch.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series
Joe Maring / Android Authority
The Samsung Galaxy S25 trio are perhaps the best devices with the Snapdragon 8 Elite under their hoods. Importantly, they receive a slightly peppier version with “For Galaxy” branding. This gives the three phones a minor clock speed boost over the standard Elite models.
Beyond their chipsets, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra offer plenty of choice for those who want a smaller flagship, a larger device without an overt size penalty, and the kitchen sink-packing Ultra.
The latter includes a slightly tweaked design over its predecessor, with rounded corners, a tweaked S Pen, and a capable camera system. The other two offerings still offer an excellent core Samsung experience.

The OnePlus 13 is among the most impressive devices the company has ever launched. At its heart lies the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but the phone is so much more than its chipset.
It packs a 6.82-inch AMOLED powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery and 100 or 80W charging depending on which region you live in. There’s also 50W wireless charging if you can’t find a cable.
The OnePlus 13 is a capable snapper, too. Its triple 50MP lens setup captures scenes in various lighting scenarios with great light reproduction and stellar zoom.

realme GT 7 Pro
Hadlee Simons / Android Authority
The realme GT 7 Pro offers loads of performance, a great display, and oodles of battery life. We also like its charming colorways, not to mention the Mars Orange livery we received for review.
It was one of the first devices to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and due to its sub-flagship angling, it does miss out on a few higher-end features you find on other devices on this list. As a result, the attractiveness of this device is tainted by a few issues, including inconsistent cameras and a price that doesn’t quite match its feature set. Nevertheless, we do appreciate this realme’s personality.

nubia REDMAGIC 10 Pro
Nick Fernandez / Android Authority
Finally, if you’re looking for something entirely out of the ordinary, the REDMAGIC 10 Pro Plus is an obvious candidate. It looks nothing like the other devices on this list, packs the largest battery, and offers breakneck 120W charging speeds. The phone also provides a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone lacks a telephoto sensor but does include a 2MP macro snapper. I’m not sure if this is a device mobile photographers should opt for. Nevertheless, it’s an overall interesting package.
