Super-Slim Galaxy S25 Edge Will Offer Ultra-Grade Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge camera details have been tipped via a new leak. The same source shared information regarding all three cameras on the phone, two rear ones, and the selfie camera too. It seems like the Galaxy S25 Edge will offer an ultra-grade camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is coming with an ultra-grade camera

Based on this information, the device will feature a 200-megapixel main camera. As expected, it will be the same camera Samsung used on the Galaxy S25 Ultra flagship. We’re looking at a 1/1.3-inch camera sensor here.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will also have a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera on the back. It will be a 1/2.55-inch camera sensor, seemingly the same ultrawide camera Samsung uses on the vanilla and ‘Plus’ Galaxy S25 models.

Its ultrawide & selfie snappers will be identical to the ones on the Galaxy S25

What about the selfie camera? Samsung will use the same 12-megapixel camera that it used since the Galaxy S23 series. We’re looking at the S5K3LU sensor here, also known as the ISOCELL 3LU. That’s a 1/3.2-inch camera sensor.

So, Samsung decided not to go with the 50-megapixel ultrawide camera from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. That is an expected move by the company, though. A dated 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper will have to do the trick.

The device will launch on May 13

Evan Blass recently confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will launch on May 13. Several sources said the same thing before him, so that date seems to be set in stone. It will not launch in the US at that time, however, but it’s coming. Based on the information we have, it’s coming to the US on May 30.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will be the company’s super-thin smartphone. It will measure only 5.8mm, and it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, just like its Galaxy S25 siblings. This phone will be priced somewhere between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
