Last month’s CES 2025 brought with it many innovative products and concepts. Samsung, having made significant announcements at the event, is currently attending ISE 2025, a tech conference that focuses on AV systems. The company has shown its latest advancements in signage display technology for enterprise use. Samsung’s Color E-Paper and 4K Smart Signage boast innovative visual experiences and low power consumption.
The South Korean giant claims that its Color E-Paper offers an unparalleled low energy-image quality ratio. It is a thin screen that combines digital ink and full-color e-paper technologies. Being aimed at businesses, the screen has visibility and functionality optimizations. The integration of digital ink technology allows the product to consume 0.00W in static images. In transitions, it consumes noticeably less energy than other solutions.
The Samsung Color E-Paper is available in multiple sizes with different resolutions. There are 13″ (1600 x 1200 px), 25″ (3200 x 1800 px), and 32″ QHD (2560 x 1440 px) variants. There’s even a 75″ outdoor version with 5K resolution (5120 x 2880 px).
All models feature 2x USB-C ports that serve both charging and data transfer. There’s also 8GB of RAM and support for Wi-Fi + Bluetooth wireless connectivity. These specs are needed to run smart features, including the AI-powered Interactive View capable of automatically converting 2D floor plans into 3D images of commercial facilities. You’ll also find options like Circle to Search and AI Summary.
A dedicated app enables remote control of the displays and setting up routines. You can set the Color E-Paper’s wake-up and sleep times, as well as content playlists. This offers great versatility if you want to have ads ready for a specific time of day. Plus, Samsung’s VXT (Visual eXperience Transformation) algorithm boosts the screen’s visibility, as well as showing you a preview of the content to check if colors are accurate.
As an Internet-connected product for businesses, Samsung has paid special attention to security. CryptoCore enables FIPS 140-3-certified encryption that keeps connections on your IoT network secure.
Samsung’s 115” 4K Smart Signage is a massive immersive screen
Samsung also showed off the giant 115” 4K Smart Signage display with 700 nits of peak brightness and Tizen OS 8.0. Its 16:9 aspect ratio allows for greater versatility than other similar products, which the company took advantage of by integrating a multi-view mode with up to four simultaneous windows. The screen has a borderless design that guarantees an immersive visual experience.
Like the Color E-Paper, the Samsung Smart Signage has AI features, Samsung VXT support, and CryptoCore. There’s an integrated handle and VESA6 support that make installation easier.
The firm has not yet revealed the price and availability details of its new screens. However, we are talking about products aimed at companies, so they probably won’t be cheap.
