In its latest quarterly revenue announcement, Samsung is teasing the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge launch while touting “strong” sales of the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung Electronics is reporting Q1 2025 revenue of KRW 79.14 trillion which is an all-time high, the company says. That’s attributed largely to “strong sales of flagship Galaxy S25 smartphones.”
Samsung says:
The MX Business experienced QoQ growth in both revenue and operating profit thanks to the strong sales of its Galaxy S25 series, which features an advanced Galaxy AI experience. Enhanced cost competency and price declines for some components also contributed to solid double-digit profitability.
The company goes on to confirm that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be launching in Q2 (as has been reported) while “Awesome Intelligence” expands the AI lineup to the Galaxy A series. Looking further into the year, Samsung teases “a differentiated AI user experience” on its upcoming foldable smartphones as well as “enhanced AI and health capabilities” in new ecosystem products, likely referring to a new Galaxy Watch. There’s also mention of “new product segments” in Samsung’s XR launch which will also happen during the second half of the year.
