According to new reports, Samsung will be launching its thinner Galaxy S25 Edge on April 16.
Following Samsung’s initial teaser of the Galaxy S25 Edge, we reported that the device would be launching “around” April, per Samsung representatives at the event. Reports out of Korea are now closing in on the official launch date of the Galaxy S25 Edge, which apparently falls on April 16 (via @Jukanlosreve).
The Seoul Economic Daily claims that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be fully detailed during an Unpacked event on April 16. This event wouldn’t be in-person, though, as Samsung would host the event online. The Edge would then become available for purchase sometime in May.
Inital colors of the device include black, silver, and blue, while Samsung will probably only produce around 40,000 units to start, as the report iterates that this is a “strategic” product for Samsung. The report also hints at a price, saying that it will cost more than the base Galaxy S25, but less than the $1,299 Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Recent reports suggest the Galaxy S25 Edge will use ceramic materials and be very lightweight for its size. It’s allegedly 5.84mm thick and has a 3,900 mAh battery.
