Samsung’s schedule for the One UI 7 rollout has been a bit vague thus far, but new details continue to come in, this time with Samsung offering a few date ranges to keep in mind.
One UI 7 has been heavily delayed, but Samsung has plans to start the rollout on April 7. There are specific dates for the start in some regions, but after that first day, there’s not been much information. Through a newsroom post in the Czech Republic, though, Samsung is offering some further details.
Spotted by Tarun Vats, this newest post specifies that Samsung will follow up its initial rollout about a week later with last-gen devices, and then to older devices later on in the month. Tablets will also follow within a few weeks of the start.
Samsung breaks the schedule down as follows:
- April 10: Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6
- April 14 or later: Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5
- “Mid-April” (presumably April 14 and later): Galaxy Tab S10 series
- Week after Tab S10 (presumably April 21 or later): Galaxy Tab S9 series
- “End of April” (presumably April 28-30): Galaxy Tab S8 series
Keep in mind that this only applies, officially, to the Czech Republic. That said, Samsung has announced that same April 10 start date in the US and other regions, so this gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect in the coming weeks for the One UI 7 rollout schedule.
