When the Galaxy S25 was first announced, pre-orders offered some of the best offers we’ve seen. Now, it looks like Samsung is bringing those deals back with $900 boosted trade-ins for the Galaxy S25 Ultra and $1,000 trades for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. On top of that, certain colors mean even more off of the device.
What surprised many people is that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has proven to be a fantastic device despite bringing almost nothing new design-wise to the table. That’s because Samsung is sticking with a look that works and making tiny modifications as needed. Under the hood, the S25 series packs the best SoC and a high-performance display in each model. Overall, it has been a great device to use on a daily basis.
Samsung devices didn’t increase in price this year, sticking to the same price points as the Galaxy S24 series. In addition, Samsung offered better trade-in deals to make the Galaxy S25 a genuinely good buy. While the launch deals have been gone for some time, it looks like they’ve come back for a flash.
Right now, Samsung is offering the Galaxy S25 Ultra for as low as $399 with certain trade-ins during a sudden deal. That price reflects any color 256GB model. The 512GB and 1TB models can get down to $519 and $757, respectively. Still, that’s a great deal if you have a Galaxy S24 Ultra or Fold 5 you want to trade. Normally, those trade-in estimates are ridiculously low and offer no benefit. During these boosted trade-in events, it’s actually worth it to send in your old Samsung phone.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is also heavily discounted, and this might be the best deal we’ve seen for the phone. It isn’t outdated, yet the Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes in at $599 if you play it right. First, certain devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy S24 Ultra will return a $1,000 credit when traded in. On top of that, choosing the White online exclusive color will get you a further $300 off of the phone. That extra savings is supply-based and may not be the case for long at all.
Some examples of trade-in values during the event include:
Towards Galaxy S25 Ultra | Towards Galaxy Z Fold 6 | |
Galaxy Z Fold 6 | $900 | N/A |
Galaxy S24 Ultra | $900 | $900 |
Galaxy Z Fold 5 | $900 | $1,000 |
Galaxy S23 Ultra | $750 | $750 |
Galaxy Z Fold 4 | $500 | $1,000 |
It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is also simply $200 off right now if you’re not looking to trade something in. It’s $300 off if you buy the Titanium Jetblack variant. That means it’s as low as $999, which is not bad if you just want to sell your old phone instead of trading it in.
If you haven’t decided on upgrading to the Galaxy S25 Ultra or Fold 6, this isn’t a terrible time to do so. In fact, the deals mean it’s a very good time. Even if you own a Galaxy Z Fold 4 and want to upgrade to the Fold 6, you can get $1,000 back for your current Z Fold, which is not a terrible option.
