The alleged OnePlus Open 2 design has surfaced a couple of days ago. That phone is expected to be identical to the OPPO Find N5, and now the Find N5 specs have made an appearance too. This information comes from a Chinese tipster whose Weibo handle is machine translated to ‘Panda is very bald’. Yes, it sounds odd, but this is not an unknown tipster.
Some OPPO Find N5 specs have just appeared
In any case, the source claims that the OPPO Find N5 will feature an 8-inch 2K main display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display will measure 6.4 inches, and it will use a 120Hz panel too. Both of those will be AMOLED displays, in case you’re wondering.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite is also mentioned by the tipster, though that much is a given. A 5,700mAh battery will also be a part of the package, it would seem. That will be a major improvement over a 4,805mAh unit inside the OPPO Find N3.
This smartphone is also said to offer faster wired charging at 80W, not ot mention offer wireless charging too. The OPPO Find N5 will allegedly support 50W wireless charging. That’s a major bump considering that its predecessor does not support wireless charging.
Three 50-megapixel cameras are expected to be included on the back
The top-end model of the device is said to offer 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Three 50-megapixel cameras are also mentioned. A 50-megapixel main unit will be backed by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.
That ‘telephoto’ camera will actually be a periscope telephoto unit, which is something the source forgot to point out. Unfortunately, we still don’t know what sensors will OPPO use inside of this phone.
The OPPO Find N5, as many of you know, is expected to be identical to the OnePlus Open 2. So pretty much every detail you hear about the Find N5 can be applied to the OnePlus Open 2. Well, at least as far as specs and design are concenred.
One of OPPO’s execs said that the OPPO Find N5 will launch before the OPPO Find X8 Ultra. That basically means that the phone is coming in Q1 next year. So… we won’t have to wait for long. The OPPO Find N5 will also be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, allegedly.
