Samsung’s One UI 7 update has been a long and drawn-out process. With Android 16 just on the horizon, it makes sense that the company would be making efforts to get it out the door. So, over the past month, we’ve seen it arrive on more phones, and in more regions. With that said, there’s still a long way to go, but the brand is just one step closer, as the update has appeared on the Galaxy Tab S10+ in the US.

The news of the update landing in the US comes from a user on Threads, sharing that it arrived on their personal Galaxy Tab S10+ (via Android Authority). So if you’re someone that’s been waiting, and you own Samsung’s latest tablet series, it might be worth taking a look to see if the update is also available for you.
It’s good to see it finally rolling out
For the most part, it looks like Samsung is doing a better job of getting the update out there. As far as strategy goes, it looks like the brand is launching the update with devices in Korea first, then we’re seeing it land in other regions as well. For the most part, we have a vague outline of when to expect the update.
And for the most part, it looks like the majority of the more recent Samsung devices will have the update by the end of April. The Galaxy S24, 23, and even Galaxy S22 series should see the update by the end of the month, along with the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip series, with the update landing on the fifth through the third generation.
While things seem to be going smoothly now, this has been one of the worst software rollouts for Samsung in quite some time. The brand was slow to get it out to the public, with One UI 7 officially making its debut with the Galaxy S25 series, and then finally making its way to older devices a couple of months later.
Of course, there are a lot of devices to cover, so this will most likely be a lengthy process for some phone owners. For the most part, you can check to see whether your product will get the update, since we have an extensive list that shows which devices will get the One UI 7 update. Again, if you have any of the more modern devices from the brand, it’s probably a good idea to hit the software update button.
And if you haven’t seen the update yet, you’ll just have to be patient. There is a silver lining here, and it’s that Samsung could release its next update, One UI 8, much sooner than anticipated. But we’ll just have to wait and see just how smoothly things go for the company.
