In a sort of post-credits scene to “The Android Show” today, Google shared a brief clip of Nothing’s Carl Pei showcasing the brand as a whole, as well as confirming the price range of the upcoming Nothing Phone (3).
Published to the Android channel on YouTube, a “Device Showcase” with Nothing sees founder Carl Pei explaining some of the brand’s values, such as its quirky designs and software, as well as talking about the Nothing Phone (3a) series.
Pei also directly teased Nothing Phone (3) which is “coming this Summer.”
The blurred-out device doesn’t reveal its design, but Pei puts together a pretty enticing teaser. He explains that Nothing is “going all in” with “premium materials, major performance upgrades, and software that really levels things up.” It’s pretty vague, but also in line with what we’ve heard before. Pei calls it Nothing’s “first true flagship smartphone.”
He then adds that it will “land somewhere around £800.” That translates to a price around $1,000 in the US, a country Pei has already confirmed that Phone (3) will be available in. That’s a huge step up from the $599 price of Nothing Phone (2), even if the price ends up closer to $800 instead.
Other “Device Showcase” videos from the Android channel includes a quick look at Samsung’s efforts, including Galaxy S25 Edge, as well as Pixel, Motorola Razr, and Xiaomi overviews.
