Nintendo Switch 2 Leaks Again, Now From Accessories Brand Genki

The Nintendo Switch 2 has leaked several times over the past few months, but just this week it’s leaked more than a few times in several capacities, the most recent being from accessories brand Genki, who is now advertising accessories for the upcoming console.

This isn’t the first leak tied to an accessories brand. Last month, the Nintendo Switch 2 popped up in the form of a full-on dummy unit through an accessories brand on Amazon. That brand sent a YouTuber one of its cases meant for the new console, and inside was a fully complete dummy unit, complete with removable Joy-Con controllers and even a glass slab for the screen. It was also briefly shown off by accessories maker Dbrand, which is promoting its new Killswitch case for the Nintendo Switch 2.

As of this week, another dummy unit has surfaced online. This time it comes from a person at CES where Genki is showing off accessories. And parts of the console have poped up again on Genki’s website. On the website, you get just glimpses of the console sitting inside one of Genki’s shells for the console. But you get a look at the back and front of the new Joy-Con controllers. As well as the front of the new dock. Based on Genki’s video it also looks like the accessory will provide several different hand grip options.

Genki is not the only source for recent Nintendo Switch 2 leaks

While Genki is the most recent when it comes to having a look at Nintendo’s new console, or what is suspected to be at least, the console has leaked a couple more times in the past few days. One user on Reddit has shared at least a few different leaked images of the console from the Joy-Con controllers to the motherboard. Laura Kate Dale has shared over on X (via Wccftech) an image of the back of the Nintendo Switch 2 dock.

The dock shows clearly visible voltage information. It was also rumored that the Switch 2 comes with a 60W charger for use with the dock. Suggesting the old Switch charger can’t be used with the new dock. All of these leaks have Switch fans hoping for some sort of reveal from Nintendo in the near future. This is entirely possible. We’re close to the time now when Nintendo says it plans to reveal the Switch 2. While the company has not given a firm date, it has confirmed that it would happen before the end of this fiscal year. Which ends on March 31.

Genki’s accessories look rather impressive

Putting the leaked design of the Nintendo Switch 2 aside, Genki’s accessories for it look pretty impressive. The grip/shell attachment itself is very similar to the one I personally have for my Nintendo Switch OLED. It’s called the Neo Grip and it comes from Skull & Co. It lets you slide on different hand grips for versatile comfort. Genki’s version looks almost the same functionally. Albeit with obvious differences in the design.

It also appears to fit into the dock while it’s attached to the console. Another accessory shown off is a charging dock for the new Joy-Con controllers. Genki hasn’t announced any time frame for the release of these accessories. But past leaks have been pointing to early or late Spring. So that may be when we see the Nintendo Switch 2 launch as well.
