Motorola seems busy preparing its next wave of popular mid-range phones, and we’re getting an exciting sneak peek. New leaks have surfaced, giving us a good look at the upcoming Moto G56 with images. There are also some solid details about the Moto G86 5G.
Let’s start with the Moto G56. Leaked images (courtesy of Nieuwemobiel) reveal three of its four likely colors: a classic Pantone Black Oyster, a vibrant Pantone Dazzling Blue, and a fresh Pantone Dill. We’re still waiting to see the Pantone Gray Mist variant, but hopefully, that pops up soon.
Motorola Moto G56 leaked images
The phone is expected to feature a 6.72-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. While the design suggests three rear cameras, it only has two. Yes, Motorola seems to be continuing its “fake-camera” design trend on some of its mid-rangers. You’ll find a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
On the right side, you’ll find the volume and power buttons. The left looks clean, housing the SIM and microSD card slots (expandable up to 2TB). And for those who appreciate it, a 3.5mm audio jack is making a welcome appearance. Previous leaks hinted that the G56 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset and sport a 32MP front camera. Expect it to hit Europe with a price tag around €265. So, there will be a slight bump from its predecessor.
Moto G86 5G and Moto G56 5G certifications
Moving on to the Moto G86 5G, it has just received its FCC certification (spotted by 91Mobiles). The device has model number XT2527-1. This listing confirms essential connectivity like 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, and possibly NFC. Crucially, the FCC also confirmed a 5,100mAh battery (rated capacity), which is a slight bump up from the G85’s 5,000mAh cell. This month we revealed exclusive renders of the Moto G86 Power—a battery-focused variant—in all its colors.
TUV Rheinland certification further revealed that the Moto G86 5G will support 33W max charging. The Moto G86 could arrive in Europe priced around €330 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration.
As for the Moto G56, it also showed up in NCC listings (model number XT2529-2). Interestingly, these certifications included live images of the green (Pantone Dill) and blue (Dazzling Blue) variants.
