Carrier bundles are a fantastic way to save money on a new smartphone while locking in a rate for service. If you want to switch providers, you can purchase a flagship device at a significant discount while cutting your monthly bill. Mint Mobile offers an excellent deal when you buy a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and a year of unlimited service. Typically, that combination would cost you well over $1,400, but for a limited time, you can purchase that bundle for only $880.
I love the idea of paying one-time upfront and not seeing another phone bill for a year, especially if I can get a Pixel 9 Pro XL for $700. This is an excellent savings opportunity if you don’t mind switching to Mint.

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL review: The best big Android phone
Google’s big flagship earns its $100 price bump and then some
Why you should buy a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is Google’s best smartphone in years. The entire Pixel 9 lineup proves the company can address user concerns and release a device with excellent hardware and solid software. The Pixel 9 Pro XL features a gorgeous 6.8-inch Super Actua display that refreshes at 120Hz. It’s a QHD+ panel that’s fantastic for watching movies or playing games. I hated the dull, drab displays Google used to put on its smartphones, and I’m glad things have turned around, with the company turning a negative into a positive. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is undoubtedly a premium flagship, with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front and back and an aluminum frame.
Under the hood, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is powered by a Tensor G4 with 16GB of RAM. It’s not a gaming powerhouse, but the Tensor G4 does what Google aimed for — providing a smooth user experience, focusing on AI enhancements. With 16GB of RAM, the Pixel 9 Pro XL should run well for years, even with added Google Gemini features. Google promises 7 years of OS upgrades and security updates for the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which is an impressive amount of support, so you won’t need to buy a new phone anytime soon. I enjoy the Pixel software experience, and Google releases feature drops constantly, adding new capabilities to your phone.
I get excellent battery life on my Pixel 9 Pro XL, often lasting two full days on a single charge from its 5,060mAh cell. I’d still like to see faster charging speeds, especially on a flagship device, but overall, I can’t complain. Of course, no Pixel conversation is complete without discussing the cameras. The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a formidable triple camera setup, and you’ll enjoy the point-and-shoot results. All told, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is an excellent smartphone, and it’s even better when purchased in a bundle.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a new name, but it fills the same slot as 2023’s Pixel 8 Pro, having similar specs with roughly the same footprint. The non-XL Pixel 9 Pro is new to the lineup as a smaller premium flagship offering. With the 9 Pro XL, however, you get Google’s fastest charging, a bigger screen and battery, and all of the camera and Gemini AI smarts you’d get in the smaller 9 Pro.
