We’re approaching the evening hours of CES, but companies are still showing off what they have up their sleeves. Among the companies showcasing their stuff, there’s the smart light brand Govee. This company showed off its future innovative products at CES, and we’re sure that they’ll add to any smart home setup.
What did Govee show off during CES 2025?
The company showed off several devices, but here’s a rundown of some of the more notable offerings that it showcased. Some of these devices won’t be available until later this year, so you’ll need to be patient.
Gaming Pixel Light
Starting off with a product for gamers, the Govee Gaming Pixel Light is an array of mini lights that create a pixel-style image. There are just enough lights on it to create a simple 8-bit-style image, so it’s great for displaying pixel art. The Gaming Pixel Light comes with over 150 preset scene presets. If 150 isn’t enough, you can display your own Pixel art.
Along with displaying pixel art, it can also display information that you can see at a glance. For example, it can display real-time weather information, sports scores, and even the progress of certain cryptocurrencies. It’s like a cute little alternative to a smart display. This device isn’t available now, but you’ll be able to pick it up in late Q2 2025.
Govee Mini Panel Lights
If you’re looking to customize your living room or gaming room, then you’ll love the Mini Panel Lights. This is a set of small square lights that you can place however you want on a large panel. If you want to make text or simple pixelated images, you can do so. Each panel has a set of 15 lamp beads that support RGBIC lights. So, each light can reproduce a wide range of colors.
You’re able to use up to 120 lights in your setup, and you can create all sorts of designs on your wall. What makes these great is how easy it is to install the lights. You just have to simply push them into place, and they’ll stay.
Using the Govee Home app, you can set the colors and choose one of the 50 scene lighting effects available. Also, these lights are Matter-supported. This means that you can use them with your choice of smart home ecosystems. Coming in at $99.99 (10 lights) and $149.99 (20 lights), the Govee Mini Panel Lights are reasonably priced. Along with that, you can purchase a separate 10-pack of lights for $59.99. These are available to buy now.
Govee Table Lamp 2 Pro x Sound by JBL
This one’s name is a mouthful, but it says it all. This is the next iteration of the company’s Table Lamp devices. The company already has a line of beautiful lamps that display a smooth gradient of colors. The thing about these lamps is that they come with a built-in speaker. The model shown off during CES, as the name implies, has a speaker designed by audio company JBL. In fact, JBL also announced its own tech at CES 2025.
The Govee Table Lamp 2 Pro x Sound by JBL has 210 separate LED lights, and they’re all individually controlled. This device can reach up to 600 lumens of brightness, so you know that it can light up a room if you need it to. However, you will most likely use this as a simple desk lamp.
Since the LEDs are all RGBICWW lights, they’ll show a wide range of colors. So, if you want to set a specific mood in your room, you’ll be able to.
Moving onto the speaker, since this is a JBL speaker, you know that you’re going to have a quality audio experience. The lamp comes with a powerful 2.5-inch speaker that can produce 10W of power. It’s a full-range driver, and it comes partnered with a passive radiator to fill out the bass.
Other fun features include a large 5,200mAh battery and Matter support. We don’t know how much this lamp will cost, but it will hit the market later next quarter.
