Following purchase (before the holidays) and calendar (last month), Gmail is updating the bills summary card on Android and iOS.
The name and the month appear first followed by the “Due on” date and a large total. You might see other relevant details like account number and the minimum payment due. A carousel rounds out this card with shortcuts to Pay bill, View bill, and Remind me, which will create a reminder using Google Tasks.
This summary card will appear for utility, credit card, and other bills. Compared to the previous approach, this design is a bit more glanceable and much more actionable.
Gmail’s bills card redesign is rolling out now to “Google Workspace customers, Google Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.” We’re not seeing it yet on our devices today.
Travel is the final summary card that Google will refresh. Gmail will also surface cards in mail search and as part of a new “Happening soon” stack/section directly above your inbox
In other Workspace updates this week, Google has rolled out 2.0 Flash to the Gemini app (mobile and web) for “improved response quality, speed, and efficiency.”
Compared to the consumer version, Workspace users in the mobile app do not see a model picker that notes the version. The dropdown is available on gemini.google.com, with this rollout now complete.
