Galaxy S25 FE Processor Leak Points To Recycled Exynos Chipset

Contents
Summary: According to new information, Samsung could use a recycled Exynos processor in the Galaxy S25 FE. The Exynos 2400e is mentioned, the same chip that was included in the Galaxy S24 FE last year. If true, this is a rather odd choice by the company, needless to say.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is expected to arrive later this year. We haven’t really seen much info about the phone, but one detail has just surfaced. According to a new report, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will include Samsung’s own chip, the Exynos 2400e.
The Galaxy S25 FE will reportedly be fueled by the same processor as its predecessor
This information comes from Android Authority, as the phone and its chip have been spotted in a code format. This is not exactly the best news. Why? Well, because the Galaxy S24 FE was fueled by the Exynos 2400e.
The Galaxy S24 FE launched in October last year, and it’s not exactly a good sign to see two generations of a phone use the same processor. The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to arrive around October, too, so a year after the Galaxy S24 FE. Well, unless something drastically changes.
Usually, we’d doubt what we’re seeing here, but the same source did successfully reveal the Galaxy XCover7 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro chipsets, via a similar method, so… this information could be accurate.
Samsung is likely planning improvements in other areas
This is not to say that Samsung is not planning upgrades for the Galaxy S25 FE, of course. It is, but just not in the processor area. We could see upgrades in other areas, of course.
The Galaxy S24 FE features a triple camera setup on the back, and it has good specifications overall. Its successor will likely continue down that road, though Samsung will have to find a way to differentiate it, if it keeps the same processor.
The company could include more RAM, as the Galaxy S24 FE offers only 8GB. An improved camera setup could be on offer, and a larger battery too. It remains to be seen, we’re only guessing at this point.
