A trusted source has just confirmed the launch month of the Galaxy S25 Edge. Based on Max Jambor’s X post, the phone will arrive in April, as expected. We’ve seen several reports regarding that thus far, but this more or less confirms it.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s launch month has just been confirmed, kind of
Back in January, a Samsung representative said that the phone will arrive “around” April. That could mean both March and May. Following that, at the end of last month, a report from Korea mentioned April 16 as the launch date for the device.
Max Jambor’s post basically confirms April, but we’re still not sure about the launch date. It could be accurate. Considering that the phone was on display at MWC 2025, it’s expected to arrive to global markets too. That’s what a number of reports said already.
The thing is, we don’t know if that April 16 launch event that is mentioned goes for Korea only, or will it be a global launch event. It’s even possible Samsung won’t make a big deal out of its launch, we’ll see.
It will be made out of ceramic and aluminum, and weigh less than its small sibling
This handset will allegedly be made out of ceramic and aluminum. It appeared in a now-deleted YouTube video, but some images remained from that video. You can expect 12GB of RAM to be included, along with UFS 4.0 flash storage.
A 4,000mAh battery will seemingly also be included, along with a 200-megapixel main camera. We’re not sure about the second camera on the back, but chances are it will be a 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be only 5.84mm thick, and it will be lighter than the Galaxy S25, if a trusted tipster is to be believed. That is quite a feat, considering that the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a much larger display. It’s essentially expected to include a 6.7-inch panel.
